Abstract

Lubuok Nginio Waterfall Tourism is a natural tourism located in Merangin Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Environmental management of natural tourism areas is an important factor so that its use can be carried out in a sustainable manner with the aim of maintaining its natural condition and can be enjoyed by visitors. This study aims to: (1) analyze the pattern of environmental management carried out by the tourism manager of Lubuok Nginio Waterfall. (2) Analyzing the perception of visitors to Lubuok Nginio Waterfall in supporting sustainable environmental management. (3) Analyzing the behavior of tourist visitors to Lubuok Nginio Waterfall in supporting sustainable environmental management. The method used is systematic interviews between researchers and informants. The results showed that the management of Lubuok Nginio waterfall by the management team functions to carry out, monitor and evaluate activities that have an impact on environmental sustainability in the Lubuok Nginio Waterfall area. Perceptions of visitors and the community in supporting sustainable environmental management and the advancement of Lubuok Nginio Waterfall tourism, namely the awareness of each individual in maintaining the sustainability of Lubuok Nginio Waterfall and the firmness of the manager in managing tourism. The behavior shown by visitors is still far from the attitude or response to preserving Lubuok Nginio Waterfall tourism. It takes a high awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability Lubuok Nginio Waterfall
