KONSEP ARSITEKTUR ISLAMI PADA PERANCANGAN MASJID ISLAMIC CENTER KOTA PEKANBARU

Abstract

Islamic architecture has always been guided by devotion to Allah and Rosulullah's lifestyle. Mosques are places of worship for Muslims that have an architecture that is inseparable from the values and influences of Islamic culture. Masjid Islamic Center is one of the mosques in Pekanbaru that is used for worship, muamalah, and proselytizing activities. This study seeks to identify the concept of Islamic architecture in the Islamic center mosque of Pekanbaru. The architectural elements observed are every element owned by the Islamic center mosque in Pekanbaru City. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The analysis was carried out by describing the theory with the form of architectural elements of the Islamic center mosque in Pekanbaru City. The results showed that the architecture of the Islamic center mosque in Pekanbaru City applies Islamic architecture based on architectural and interior aspects of the Qur'an.
