Pengaruh Kepemilikan Keluarga terhadap Leverage

Abstract

This study aims to explain the correlation between family control and leverage by considering the effect of board quality. This study covers the entire population of non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample size consists of 362 companies, resulting in a total of 1,086 observations collected between 2019 and 2021. This study utilizes quantitative methodology to collect empirical data. The findings of this study indicate that there is a statistically significant and positive relationship between family control and leverage. There is importance in board quality when comparing family control and leverage. This study also utilizes resource dependency theory to explain the above-mentioned relationship.
