Pengaruh Total Hutang dan Total Penjualan terhadap Laba Bersih pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Sub Sektor Pulp dan Kertas yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) Tahun 2016 - 2022

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of total debt and total sales on net profit in manufacturing companies in the pulp and paper subsector that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2016 and 2022. Purposive sampling was the method employed, and five companies in total were sampled. This study uses quantitative data, secondary data sources, and documentation-based data collection methods. Multiple linear regression tests were employed in the data analysis method. The study's findings indicate that while total debt has no bearing on net profit, net profit is significantly positively impacted by total sales.
