The objective of this study is to assess the impact of environmental costs and climate risks on financial performance, with company size serving as a moderating variable. Using secondary data from 63 mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2023, 22 firms were selected through purposive sampling based on defined criteria. The analysis employed both multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA), with Return on Assets (ROA) used to represent financial performance. Findings indicate that environmental costs significantly affect financial performance when evaluated independently, while climate risks show no significant influence. In addition, company size is found to moderate the relationship between environmental costs and financial performance, but does not have the same effect in the context of climate risk
