Abstract

This study endeavours to elucidate the evaluative mechanism of corporate performance through the balanced scorecard paradigm, employing a quantitative modality. The focal entity is PT. Meridan Sejati Surya Plantation, domiciled in Kerinci Kanan, Siak Regency, Riau. Descriptive analytics were utilized for data explication.Findings indicate that the firm’s performance, appraised across the balanced scorecard’s quadrants, is broadly commendable. The fiscal dimension, encompassing profit vis-à-vis sales, assets, and liabilities, exhibits affirmative outcomes, as corroborated by a positive Economic Value Added (EVA), notwithstanding a marginal performance regression—suggesting fiscal recalibration through expenditure attenuation. From the client perspective, customer acquisition has intensified. Internally, operational recalibrations have enhanced procedural efficacy. However, the learning and growth vector remains volatile, encumbered by workforce flux impeding performance stabilization.
