Abstract

Electrical energy become a staple for the community, because without electric power as a consumer society activities will be disrupted. The object of research is the residents in the village of Sri Meranti having problems and interference with the equipment, electrical installations and buildings, such as the occurrence of short circuit, damage to electrical equipment as a result of user error occurs and installation and electrical installations in residential buildings. Based on the results of the discussion will provide knowledge about the safety system after the counseling and training of 100%, a security system in the field of electricity amounted to 100%, the use of household electrical appliances in accordance with the regulations and standards amounted to 92%, cause and effect of the dangers of the use of household electrical appliances for 88% know how to install a security system in accordance with the standards and regulations of 92%.
