Abstract

The problem that is very troubling for farmers is the decline in yields due to the large number of pests. One of the causes of the proliferation of pests and plant diseases is humidity conditions in tropical climates and rainfall. This is also a big problem faced by Maddaung farmers in Hadong Hamlet, Latellang Village, especially the problem of pests which have an impact on crop losses. So far, the majority of Maddaung farmers have overcome pest problems by spraying chemical pesticides intensively, even though pesticides are relatively expensive. The service method is carried out online / online, which consists of counseling, training, program assistance and product marketing. Based on several stages in the service, namely counseling and training with the Maddaung Farmer Group as partners, being able to find out the benefits of coconut shell waste, corn cobs and rice husks and to raise public awareness to protect the environment. The existence of product manufacturing training is able to develop the basic insights and skills of the Maddaung Farmer Group for the production of innovative products with the utilization of very abundant waste resources.
