Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Pesisir Pantai Melalui Pemanfaatan Sampah Plastik Kiriman Menjadi Bantal Kursi

Abstract

The waste problem is still the main discussion for the coastal communities of Buhung Pitue Village, Pulau Sembilan District, which is a location that receives a lot of plastic waste every day, which is an average of 3-5 kg ​​/ day. Until now, the processing of the plastic waste sent has not been resolved, causing many problems for the community. The use of plastic waste sent into chair cushions is a form of counseling by the community service team of STKIP Muhammadiyah Bone which is carried out online. The existence of this innovation can be a solution to partner problems of pollution on the coast and can develop the entrepreneurial spirit of the Buhung Pitue Village community. This counseling was attended by 10 people consisting of the PKK Buhung Pitue Village, Sembilan Island District. The activities carried out were in the form of an introduction to the purpose of holding community service activities, presentation of tools and materials and the stages of making unique chair cushions from plastic waste. So that the community will later be able to implement independently as the final result of this counseling.
