Hiasan Rumah Limbah Serbuk Kayu Melalui Pemberdayaan Kelompok Ibu PKK Desa Labuaja
Abstract
The existence of sawdust waste is very abundant as a byproduct of the wood industry, namely sawmill industrial waste. This also happened to wood craftsmen in Labuaja Village who produced wooden frames, windows and doors. The sawdust in the eyes of the Labuaja Village community does not have high benefits because it is only used as fuel for cooking. The data obtained shows that in one operation it will produce 15 sacks of sawdust a day. So, in one month, if accumulated, the machine will produce as much as ± 40 kinds of furniture which reaches ± 1 ton of sawdust waste. Accumulation of sawdust waste without processing and utilization will be a problem faced by the people of Labuaja Village today and in the future. Therefore, it can be used as an effort to be used by the community to be processed as a home decoration by involving the community, especially the PKK in Labuaja Village, to increase their creativity and economic level.
