Abstract

Forest farmer groups have quite a lot of experience on agricultural issues, but as a heterogeneous group, the group's sustainability in working together to face problems is very much needed. Group dynamics are very important to be strengthened for the sustainability of nursery work. The approach taken is to provide counseling on group dynamics to capture problems faced by the community regarding group interactions. The results of the study found that the Liliboy Village Forest Farmers Group had a fairly high dynamic in the interaction between group members, but interaction with other parties was low. This is influenced by indicators of community empowerment. Community empowerment is meant to be related to the elements of program sustainability given to groups, intervention by other parties with non-transparent management and dependence on the support of the government and other parties. The conclusions that can be obtained as a whole the elements of group dynamics still need to be strengthened by strengthening group institutions in supporting group commitments related to group goals to be achieved. Network expansion is one of the elements of social capital which is strengthened by the rules and norms that live in the group.
