PENGATURAN PADA PEMBANGKIT MIKROHIDRO MENGGUNAKAN PID-NBA (NOVEL BAT ALGORITHM)

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan umum pada pembangkit mikrohidro adalah perubahan beban dari sisi konsumen. Sehingga beberapa cara digunakan untuk memperbaiki permasalahan tersebut. Pada penelitian ini, diusulkan pengaturan frekuensi pada pembangkit mikrohidro menggunakan algoritma Novel Bat Algorithm (NBA). Algoritma digunakan untuk menghitung PID, nilai Kp, Ki dan Kd. Pengaturan dilakukan pada sisi mekanis yaitu pengaturan servomotor sebagai governor. Hasil nilai tuning PID-NBA adalah Kp=0.073752, Ki=0.0023433, Kd=0.0031542. Sistem diuji dengan gangguan sebesar 0.1 pu untuk melihat kestababilan sistem setelah diberi gangguan. Respon frekuensi dibandingkan dengan beberapa metode, yaitu tanpa kontrol, trial, BA dan NBA. Dengan metode PID-NBA didapatkan settling time= 3.5 s dan overshoot -1.615e-5 & 3.74e-07, hasil yang didapatkan lebih baik daripada ketiga metode yang lain. Overshoot mampu diperkecil dan waktu yang dicapai untuk mencapai stabil lebih cepat.

Abstract

One of the common problems in micro-hydro plants are changes in load from the consumer side. So that several ways are used to fix this problem. In this study, it is proposed that the frequency setting of the micro-hydro generator use the Novel Bat Algorithm (NBA). Algorithms are used to calculate PID, the values of Kp, Ki and Kd. The arrangement is made on the mechanical side, namely the servomotor setting as a governor. The result of the PID-NBA tuning value is Kp= 0.073752, Ki= 0.0023433, Kd= 0.0031542. The system was tested with a disturbance of 0.1 pu to see the stability of the system after being given a disturbance. The frequency response was compared with several methods, namely without control, trial, BA and NBA. With the PID-NBA method, the obtained settling time = 3.5 s and overshoot -1.615e-5 & 3.74e-07, the results obtained are better than the other three methods. Overshoot can be minimized and the time achieved to achieve stability is faster .
