PERENCANAAN GEDUNG PERTEMUAN DI PEKANBARU DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR MODERN

Abstract

The relatively high increase in population in Pekanbaru City has led to an increase in the socio-cultural needs of the community, one of which is a meeting hall, the people of Pekanbaru cannot be separated from social activities and, these activities are activities that gather large crowds, including weddings, graduations, seminars and exhibitions, so they need a representative place. This study aims to plan a meeting hall building that can accommodate 3500 visitors. The concept used is modern architecture by applying modern architectural principles in the design. The method used in this research is qualitative by looking for existing data in the field and then describing it in the form of analysis, using observation data collection methods, literature studies and interviews. The results of this design are in the form of a design model for the shape of the building and the outer space of the meeting hall using modern architectural concepts, which can meet the needs of building users.
