PENGARUH PENCAHAYAAN ALAMI TERHADAP KENYAMANAN VISUAL PENGGUNA RUANG KULIAH GEDUNG FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNIVERSITAS LANCANG KUNING
Natural lighting is an important factor because it influences the teaching and learning process related to space users' visual comfort. If the level of classroom lighting is lacking, this can result in decreased productivity during teaching and learning. The lecture rooms in the building of the Faculty of Engineering, Lancang Kuning University with an opening ratio of about 20% to the area of the field, there are differences in light intensity and contrast in several lecture halls, even though the circulation of the building is mostly in the form of a single-loaded corridor which has the potential for sunlight to enter directly into the room. The research aims to determine visual comfort and know the right lighting engineering to increase the distribution of lighting in a more even space. The research-dependent variable is the level of lighting and its distribution, while the independent variable is the configuration of openings on the building facade. This study used an experimental method with quantitative analysis. Experimentally using Ecotect 11 software to find out the distribution layout and lighting level of the lecture hall. The results of recommendations for openings that are suitable and have a value from the level and distribution of lighting that are most evenly distributed in the classroom, namely by using a high clerestory.
