PERANCANGAN RUANG AUDITORIUM PADA BANGUNAN CONVENTION HALL DI PEKANBARU BERBASIS ARSITEKTUR AKUSTIK

Abstract

The Convention Hall is a multifunctional building that combines convention and exhibition functions with a large visitor capacity. Convention Hall can be interpreted as a building with the function of meeting activities carried out by a group of people to discuss an activity either nationally or internationally. One of the rooms that accommodates these activities is the auditorium. The acoustic performance in the auditorium must be considered so that the sound delivery is clearer, there is no hum, echo and other acoustic defects. Acoustic architecture by determining reflection points, sound absorbers and using acoustic materials in the room can eliminate the effects of these acoustic defects. The acoustic approach in designing the auditorium produces sound that reaches the audience more clearly in the room.
