The problems faced by the partners, namely the people of Sungai Dua Indah Village, Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency, are related to the habit of clearing agricultural land through burning land for planting rice, rubber, oil palm, and other crops. The practice, known as "memorun", has been carried out for generations. However, some people still do not understand adequately about the prohibition of forest and land burning, the environmental impact it causes, and the legal sanctions for the perpetrators. This community service activity aims to increase public knowledge and understanding of the impact of forest and land fires on the environment, as well as the legal consequences that can be imposed on the perpetrators of land burning. The solution offered and agreed upon by the proposing team with partners is the implementation of socialization through counseling activities and interactive discussions. The method of implementing the activity uses the lecture method, which is the delivery of material by the resource person followed by a question and answer session between participants and presenters. The stages of the activity include: (1) the delivery of material on the impact of forest and land fires and their legal sanctions, and (2) interactive dialogue as a means of brainstorming to accommodate problems, aspirations, proposals, ideas, and solutions from participants. The participation of partners in this activity is manifested through the willingness to provide a time and place for the implementation of activities, as well as mobilize the community as the target audience. The expected outcomes of this service activity are increased public understanding of the negative impacts of forest and land fires, as well as increased legal awareness related to the prohibition of land burning
