Desa Cipta Karya merupakan desa wisata yang berada di Kabupaten Bengkayang, hal tersebut menyebabkan banyaknya aktivitas wisata masyarakat yang berakibat pada meningkatnya limbah plastik. Status desa yang termasuk kedalam 75 desa wisata terbaik di Indonesia menyebabkan masyarakat dan pemerintah harus tetap menjaga keindahalan lingkungan desa tersebut, salah satu caranya adalah dengan pengolahan sampah plastik. Pembuatan Ecobrick merupakan salah satu solusi pengolahan limbah plastik menjadi barang yang memiliki nilai guna. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk wadah transfer informasi tentang potensi pengolahan limbah plastik menjadi produk ecobrick sebagai tanggung jawab civitas akademika dalam upaya menjaga status desa sebagai desa wisata terbaik. Pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara persentasi dan praktek langsung pembuatan produk ecobrick. Dari olah data kuisioner menunjukan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pengolahan limbah plastik yang memiliki nilai guna lebih dan dapat memberikan peluang usaha baru dengan nilai jual yang tinggi sehingga masyarakat menjadi unggul dalam ekonomi dan lingkungan pun terjaga.

Learning English can be done through digital media including online games and one of them is Mobile Legends game. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide English learning training to increase participants' vocabularies through Mobile Legends game. There are 3 methods used in this activity, namely the Leatoring Method, the Skill Training Method and the Discovery Method. The result of this activity is increasing English vocabularies and sentences knowledge after playing the Mobile Legends game. This is because the Mobile Legends game uses English, so little by little the player's knowledge of English vocabulary and sentences also increases. The implementation of this activity was said to be successful as seen from the enthusiasm and motivation and interest in learning English of the participants.

Utilization of Social Media by Young Initiators of Religious Harmony in Strengthening Religious Moderation

Religious moderation is key to the creation of tolerance and aggression at various levels. In Indonesia, building a community among diverse societies is a priority for the Ministry of Religion. South Sulawesi, with a majority of its population Muslims, has a dynamic of harmonious religious life without serious interreligious conflict. This devotional activity aims to increase the involvement of cross-religious youth as agents of change in strengthening religious moderation and gatherings through social media. The implementation of the activities is carried out with the community-based research (CBR) approach, which covers the four stages of policy-making, planning, data collection and analysis, and action on findings. These stages include training, focus group discussions, and the establishment of a cross-religious youth institution active in social media. The activities resulted in two major achievements, namely the creation of the Interreligious Youth Foundation in Kelurahan Amparita, known as the Three One Village, and the publication of crowd content in the form of photos, videos, and messages disseminated through social media and the website https://sipakatabe.id/. This dedication program successfully consolidated the concept of brotherhood as a foundation for interreligious gatherings in the Sidrap district. Young pioneers of the crowd gain knowledge in the creation of crowd content and actively engage in the dissemination of tolerant messages. This program is expected to be a model for other regions in building a congregation of religious people. The recommendation of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Sidrap District is to continue building the young generation through the Village Development Programme. (PDSKUB).

Banjir adalah kondisi meluapnya air dari dalam saluran akibat tidak tertampungnya air atau terhambatnya aliran air. Bencana banjir dapat disebabkan oleh faktor alami dan akibat manusia. Banjir dapat diatasi dengan beberapa cara seperti pembuatan dinding penahan tanah atau turap guna mencegah terjadinya luapan air sungai. Namun dalam pembuatan dinding penahan tanah dan turap perlu adanya perencanaan yang terperinci agar dinding penahan tanah atau turap yang di buat bekerja dengan maksimal. Untuk itu dilakukan penyuluhan mengenai penanganan luapan air sungai sebagai upaya menjaga kesehatan masyarakat Desa Siabu, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau guna memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat. Metodologi pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari tahap persiapan, sosialisasi, implementasi dan evaluasi. Pada tahap Penyuluhan ini peserta pelatihan diberikan materi penanganan luapan air sungai sebagai upaya menjaga kesehatan masyarakat Desa Siabu, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau. Penyuluhan ini juga memberikan test kesehatan gratis kepada masyarakat Desa Siabu. Penyuluhan juga dilakukan dengan sistem pre-test dan post-test digunakan untuk menyelesaikan kegiatan sosial ini yang sebelumnya telah diisi oleh penduduk. Kuesioner yang dibagikan berisi pertanyaan pengetahuan mengenai penanganan luapan air sungai. Dari hasil tes kemampuan pre test umumnya mitra tidak mengetahui terkait penanganan luapan air sungai. Setelah dilakukannya kegiatan sosialisasi berserta diskusi di Desa Siabu, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang penanganan luapan air sungai. Dengan dilakukannya penyuluhan ini diharapkan masyarakat Desa Siabu dapat memahami metode penanganan luapan air sungai dan dengan diadakannya tes kesehatan gratis bagi masyarakat diharapkan dapat meingkatkan kesehatan masyarakat Desa Siabu.

One of the villages in Banjarbaru has a unique handicraft product because it is made from Purun plants, a type of shrub that grows wild in swamp areas. The products made by the community around Palam Village are bags and accessories woven from Purun rat plant materials. So far, the handicraft is enough to provide additional income for housewives but has not provided optimal results because it has yet to implement a digital marketing strategy. The bag products produced are also relatively simple and have yet to be modified to gain more value in sales. This community service project aimed to train housewives in product development so they could produce Purun bag items more skillfully. Furthermore, instruction was provided on creating poster designs using the Canva software as a digital marketing tool. During the training, the artisans had the chance to try creating Purun bags by hand and creating advertising posters using their phones. The end training outcomes demonstrated that the artisans could incorporate the instruction into their creations. The assessment form revealed that the artisans were highly motivated to participate in the training and expressed hopes that conducting more of this kind of instruction in the future would be possible.

Development Of A Green Economic Village Through The Eco-Enzyme Program In Candisari Village Lamongan, East Java

Organic waste is developed into ecoenzymes with science and technology through fermentation processes that produce environmentally friendly products and can reduce pollution. The activity partners are the women of PKK RT. 015/RW. 08 Candisari Village, Sambeng District, Lamongan Regency, with the priority of developing a green economic village through managing organic waste into eco-enzymes. The activities were followed by 34 PKK women participants with stages of presentation of eco-enzyme material, small-scale manufacturing process, mentoring, and evaluation. Based on the pre-test and post-test results showed an increase in the knowledge of ecoenzymes from 0% 0% to enough knowledge of 8.8% and knowledge of 91.2%. The ability to make eco-enzymes increased from 0% tto enough knowledge of 5.9% and knowledge of 94.1%. The indicators of increasing knowledge show that community service activities are successful.

Religious moderation has become an important issue recently in line with the increasing conflict originating from ideological and identity political competition, which tends to be extreme, both right and left. In an effort to minimize the occurrence of conflict due to these problems, the Ministry of Religion Affair has launched religious moderation as the main program in developing Indonesia. The strategy of internalizing the values of religious moderation can be carried out by all levels of society, one of which is early childhood education institutions. The strategy is to use the ABCD approach where the focus of this service is more directed at implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka, namely the activities of the Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila with the theme We are All Brothers. The results of this service are that partners can develop P5 teaching modules according to the guidelines, receive material regarding strategies for internalizing the values of religious moderation in PAUD, visit Pancasila villages, and receive a literacy corner and religious moderation APE. The level of partner satisfaction is also quite good so there is a commitment to continue carrying out activities to internalize these values in the following years

Reading and literacy activities are often carried out by school institutions. In fact, reading and literacy are basic competencies that a person must have in order to survive in life. Meanwhile, reading learning and literacy activities in class do not yet have a sufficient portion to be able to provide comprehensive provisions to students. This community service activity is carried out to strengthen reading and literacy skills in the general public outside school institutions. Apart from that, this activity also aims to encourage the young generation in Tegalsari Village, Kandeman District, Batang Regency to have critical awareness in all their activities, especially in the field of education. Therefore, this service uses Participatory Action Research (PAR) as an approach method with the hope of creating social transformation carried out by the fostered partners or the youth community itself. Through PAR, this service produces three recommendations in the form of a flow of activities as the expected final achievements, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. Based on these results, the service team, youth community, community and village government discovered how important the existence of reading huts is in busy nodes or places of community activity. Through this literacy village pilot, the youth community and the people of Tegalsari Village gained a new perspective that the literacy village pilot became a symbol of progress and stability in the village community's thinking

Assistance in Preparing Engineering Prompts for Muhammadiyah School Teachers to Optimize the Use of ChatGPT in the World of Education

ChatGPT, a widely used Large Language Model (LLM), enhances productivity in various sectors, including education. However, its extensive usage often lacks proficiency in writing effective prompts, resulting in less optimal, biased, and hallucinated outputs. This community service initiative by Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) aims to educate teachers on prompt engineering, enabling them to (i) write effective prompts to utilize ChatGPT's potential, (ii) educate about potential biases and hallucinations of ChatGPT, and (iii) integrate ChatGPT into educational practices with integrity. Partnering with three Muhammadiyah Schools, the program trains 7-8 teachers from each institution. The training covers five key areas: (a) prompt engineering introduction, (b) building optimal prompts, (c) leveraging ChatGPT in teaching and learning, (d) prompt engineering for educational material creation, and (e) ethics of LLM usage in professional and academic settings. The effectiveness of this program is evaluated through pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Results indicate a significant improvement in prompt engineering proficiency, rising from 35.3% (pre-test) to 87.5% (post-test), and in the utilization of ChatGPT for learning support, increasing from 23.5% (pre-test) to 81.3% (post-test).

Tujuan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah melatih guru-guru di kota Kupang menerapkan disiplin literatif agar dapat menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang literatif. Asumsi penting bahwa rendahnya tingkat literasi siswa dan sekolah yang belum menjadi lingkungan yang literatif bagi siswa. Salah satu satu cara agar menjadikan sekolah sebagai lingkungan yang literatif adalah penerapan disiplin positif yang literatif atau disiplin literatif bagi siswa yang melanggar peraturan. Disiplin literatif merupakan cara yang dilakukan untuk memberikan sanksi/hukuman positif yang literatif bagi siswa. Disiplin literatif ini, sejauh ini belum pernah dilakukan di sekolah-sekolah kita di Kota Kupang baik di wilayah semiurban, urban, maupun rural. Oleh karena itu, guru-guru yang berpartisipasi dalam pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model penerapan disiplin literatif di sekolah masing-masing. Sasaran yang diharapkan melalui PKM adalah: (1) terlaksananya pelatihan pembuatan/perumusan disiplin literatif. (2) terlaksananya diskusi intens untuk memvalidasi model disiplin literatif. Kegiatan PKM ini diikuti oleh 21 guru SD di kota Kupang. Kegiatan PKM ini berjalan dengan baik selama 2 hari dan menghasilkan 15 bentuk disiplin literatif bagi siswa yang melanggar aturan di sekolah baik untuk kelas rendah maupun kelas tinggi. Penyandang disabilitas masih dianggap sebagai pihak yang memiliki keterbatasan yang menyebabkan penyandangnya menjadi tidak percaya diri. Hal ini berakibat pada kemandirian penyandang disabilitas yang bergantung pada orang lain, padahal mereka hanya memiliki keterbatasan, bukan ketidakmampuan secara menyeluruh. Pengabdian ini berupaya menggali potensi dari dalam diri penyandang disabilitas yang tergabung di Penyandang Disabilitas Kabupaten Kediri (PDKK). Penggalian potensi yang dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan memberikan psikoedukasi tentang psychological capital atau modal psikologis sebagai upaya internal pengenalan diri dan potensi diri yang dimiliki masing-masing individu. Hasil dari pengabdian menunjukkan adanya perubahan pengetahuan tentang psychological capital pada masing-masing individu. Peserta pengabdian juga diberikan kesempatan untuk melakukan identifikasi potensi diri yang dimiliki berdasarkan materi tentang psychological capital. Pengabdian ini menunjukkan pengenalan dan penggalian potensi diri pada penyandang disabilitas menjadi salah satu pintu untuk melakukan pemberdayaan pada penyandang disabilitas.

Development of Conservation Agriculture on Sloping Land for Potato Commodities in Wonokitri Village, Pasuruan, East Java

Sistem pertanian pada dataran tinggi mempunyai keunikan dan tantangan tersendiri, termasuk kawasan pertanian di Desa Wonokitri, Pasuruan, Jawa Timur. Kesesuain lahan untuk budidaya komoditas hortikultura menyebabkan praktek pertanian yang digunakan termasuk intensif melalui pengolahan tanah, pola tanam, penggunaan pupuk hingga pengendalian hama penyakit. Komoditas utama pada lahan ini adalah kentang, selain syarat tumbuh terpenuhi juga dikarenakan nilai jual kentang yang tinggi. Namun, yang menjadi tantangan adalah praktek penanaman dilakukan pada lahan berlereng dan tidak disertai dengan penerapan tindakan konservasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pertanian koservasi yang berbasis kearifan lokal pada lahan berlereng di Desa Wonokitri, Pasuruan, Jawa Timur. Metode yang digunakan mencakup observasi lapangan, analisis tanah, dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan petani setempat. Sifat tanah di lahan pertanian wonokitri termasuk dalam tekstur lempung berdebu, berat isi tanah 0,62 g cm^-3, porositas tinggi (> 50%), permeabilitas cepat (>12,7 cm jam^-1) dan kemantapan agregat sangat stabil sekali (>2 mm), sehingga secara fisik sangat baik dalam menopang pertumbuhan tanaman kentang. Namun, sistem pertanian berlerang tanpa konservasi yang dilakukan sangat berpotensi menurunkan produktivitas lahan di masa mendatang. Oleh sebab itu, berdasarkan kondisi aktual lahan, kesesuaian tanaman dan sosial ekonomi dirumuskan tindakan konservasi yang dapat diterima yakni dengan penanaman pada bedengan searah lereng yang dilengkapi dengan saluran pengelak dan saluran pembuangan air (SPA) serta bak penampung untuk menangkap limpasan permukaan dan sedimen. Pada setiap petak lahan ditanami tanaman penguat guna meningkatkan kestabilan lereng dan perlindungan lahan. Pandemi covid-19 mengharuskan proses belajar mengajar siswa jarak jauh (daring) sehingga kompetensi siswa kurang masksimal karena kurangnya praktikum di laboratorium khususnya siswa jurusan Teknik dan Bisnis Sepeda Motor (TBSM) SMK Bina Nusa Slawi. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengingkatkan kompetensi otomotif dasar siswa perlu adanya pelatihan motor bakar dengan mengoptimalkan Engine Cutting sebagai alat peraga. Peserta pelatihan berjumlah 20 siswa jurusan TBSM SMK Bina Nusa Slawi. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahap. Tahap pertama adalah pendalaman materi motor bakar 4 langkah. Tahap kedua adalah demonstrasi prinsip kerja motor bakar menggunakan engine cutting. Tahap ketiga adalah evaluasi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan siswa setelah mendapatkan pelatihan tersebut. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan bahwa seluruh peserta pelatihan mendapatkan nilai yang KOMPETEN.

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah menciptakan perubahan mendasar dalam paradigma pembelajaran, khususnya dalam dunia pendidikan. Learning resources, terutama yang berbasis teknologi, memiliki peran krusial dalam mendukung sistem pembelajaran. Artikel ini membahas konsep learning resources, dengan penekanan pada penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di perpustakaan sebagai pusat sumber belajar. Implementasi sistem otomasi perpustakaan, seperti INLISLite versi 3, dianggap sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan perpustakaan. Studi kasus dilakukan dengan mengadopsi INLISLite versi 3 sebagai sistem otomasi perpustakaan. Metode pelatihan klasikal digunakan, dengan fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan staf pengelola perpustakaan sekolah. Kegiatan pelatihan mencakup pengenalan, instalasi, administrasi, pengelolaan bahan pustaka, pengaturan pengelolaan anggota, transaksi, dan layanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan penerimaan terhadap sistem informasi setelah pelatihan.Studi ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman implementasi teknologi informasi dalam konteks perpustakaan sebagai pusat sumber belajar. Penerapan INLISLite versi 3 di perpustakaan sekolah dianggap sebagai langkah strategis untuk mewujudkan perpustakaan yang efisien.

This community service activity was carried out by the Lancang Kuning University Postgraduate School Lecturer Team in the Riau Province Ministry of Health Polytechnic Meeting Room. The aim of this activity is for students to understand the legal aspects of health and understand the legal responsibilities of health workers in health services in hospitals. This community service uses lecture and interactive dialogue methods. In addition, participants filled out a pre-test questionnaire before the lecture and completed a post-test after the lecture. The results of this activity show that participants' understanding of legal counseling material has increased. The increase in participants' understanding was shown by the participants' answers, most of whom chose the correct answer regarding the 3 Main Actors, namely Hospitals, Health Workers and Patients who play a role in the hospital, Doctors/Health Personnel and Patients are legal subjects who have equal status, the rights of patients who has not been implemented, resulting in complaints due to complicated services, the Hospital can be sued if it does not provide good service, and the Hospital is responsible under administrative law for all losses arising from the negligence of health workers. Students from other universities need to receive knowledge regarding aspects of health law so they can understand the legal responsibilities of health workers in health services in hospitals.

This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and practice to the community regarding the processing or process of coconuts into transparent soap products and to find out the packaging techniques for transparent soap products so that they have added value and are worth selling. The activity method carried out is using lecture and practice methods. The target audience for this community service are housewives in Pekanbaru City, which was held in Sidomulyo Timur Pekanbaru Village on June 29 2022, with a total of 50 participants. The method used in this activity is the Participatory Action Research method. The result of the service activity is that the stages of making transparent soap start from the stages of preparing the ingredients, weighing the ingredients, heating the ingredients, mixing (blending), stirring and finally printing. Namun, dapat memperkenalkan ke seluruh masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satu cara efektif dalam menjangkau calon santri adalah memanfaatkan pemasaran digital. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam membuat konten digital dengan memaksimalkan media sosial dan website untuk menjangkau calon santri yang lebih luas. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan pendampingan, sehingga kami memastikan bahwa mitra dapat mandiri dalam mengelola pemasaran digital. Mapping the Economic Potential of the Community of Teluk Latak Village, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency through an MSMEs

This community service activity (PKM) was carried out in Teluk Latak Village, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. This activity records the socio-economic potential of Teluk Latak Village which focuses on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Although the majority of residents do not experience problems in doing business, some business actors report difficulties, especially in marketing and promoting the products that have been produced. Therefore, this PKM activity collected data on the economic potential in Teluk Latak Village based on information from MSME players. The PKM activity method is carried out through a field survey involving MSME business actors using the interview method and analyzing data related to the economy. The survey results show that the majority of MSME activists in Teluk Latak Village are engaged in weaving. This finding illustrates the strong economic potential, especially in the weaving MSME sector. It is hoped that the results of data collection on economic potential through this PKM activity can be used as a reference for optimal efforts in developing the potential of Teluk Latak Village. The results of the analysis show that improving marketing and promotion strategies can overcome the obstacles faced by some MSME actors, so that economic development in Teluk Latak Village can be carried out holistically, maximizing the potential of the MSME sector and overcoming obstacles that may arise.

Empowerment of Hotong and Ina Labuang Farmer Groups Through Dissemination of Technology and Innovation in Hotong Buru Processing (Seteria Itallica)

Hotong buru (Setaria italica) is one of the local food crops that has so far been traditionally processed to produce hotong seeds and the products produced are still limited to cake products that are consumed by the surrounding community. The limitations of processing infrastructure, knowledge, and skills in innovating from post-harvest to the diversity of hotong products are experienced by two (2) groups/partners in Labuang village, namely the Hotong Labuang Farmer Group and the Ina Labuang Group. The purpose of the service activities carried out is to answer partner problems related to limited processing infrastructure, knowledge, and skills in producing hotong products through collaboration in the development and application of science and technology produced by universities to be utilized for the needs of the community (partners). The solutions provided for the community, in this case, the partners, include technology dissemination starting from post-harvesting hotong to processing into products with packaging and marketing strategies. The method of implementing this service activity is through the KOSABANGSA program which starts from the stages of preparation, implementation monitoring, and evaluation. The results obtained in this service were achieved based on the designed activity plan where there was an increase in partner knowledge, partners were skilled in operating the technology tools provided such as dome, thresher, disk mill, processing of mosef flour, making cookies and noodles to the marketing strategy.

Agricultural development is faced with various challenges, such as climate change which can lead to food insecurity, the conversion of agricultural cultivation land to non-agriculture, population growth followed by an increase in food demand, exploitation, and degradation of agricultural land resources which causes a decrease in soil quality, environment, and agricultural products. Organic fertilizer can be obtained from the processing of organic waste which is produced either from agricultural waste or from household organic waste. Making eco-enzymes is an innovation that can be applied at the smallest level, namely households and farmer groups to be able to produce organic fertilizer. The Community Service Activity for the Food Security Scheme which was carried out in Kamulyan Village, Manonjaya District, Tasikmalaya Regency was to provide information on the concept of environmentally friendly agriculture through the manufacture of eco-enzymes as an effort to meet the demand for organic fertilizers. Next, a method is given for applying organic fertilizer from eco-enzyme fermentation to plants. This solution is offered considering the various benefits of eco-enzymes, especially in meeting the organic fertilizer needs of partner farmers, which in turn can increase the knowledge, skills, and independence of farmers.

Implementation of socialization, training and mentoring for partners has been carried out to empower UMKM entrepreneurs. It is expected that partners can follow the flow of technology and be able to face competition in this digital technology era. With increased competition, UMKM entrepreneurs are required to be able to face all challenges. This can be done by increasing product innovation and expanding marketing networks, promotions and publications about their business. Community service is a form of activity to transfer and apply knowledge and technology directly to help people's lives improve and develop, including owners of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This community service program was carried out for PTL Coffee MSMEs located in Nagari Lubuk Gadang Selatan, Sangir District, South Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province, with the theme of creating a Business Model Canvas (BMC). This service aimed to find out the right business model for the sustainability of the PTL Coffee. Besides, it is expected that new ideas can be found to support the development of PTL Coffee through analysis of existing businesses. Activities were conducted online through presenting material using Zoom Meetings and offline by visiting PTL Coffee to help make BMC. The discussion during the Zoom Meeting proceeded smoothly, and the attendees appeared excited to listen to the materials delivered. Overall, PTL Coffee was able to compile the nine components of BMC successfully, which allowed it to assess the business's strengths and weaknesses. It also helped PTL Coffee set reasonable and targeted goals for the company's future growth.

The results of this community service are a report of SMPLB-A YPAB buildings condition, a report of visual audit results, and dissemination of visual audit results. This community service supports SDG 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities, particularly in the improvement of environment quality and inclusive communities within the context of school building.

Abstract

Water is the most important thing that must be available to support human life. For generations, people with habits and cultures have used water sources in their territory to meet their daily needs. However, Lelemer Village experiences a shortage of clean water supply such as drinking, bathing, etc. This problem happened because one of the springs could not maximize distribution to the community. Tumpasan Bara is water runoff from cliff rocks with unstable soil quality, so it is vulnerable to landslides that can pollute and even close water distribution pipes because the spring management infrastructure has not met the standards. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to improve upstream infrastructure so that resources can be spread and support the welfare of the Lelemer village community. Typically done by making strides in the upstream foundation so that clean water can be distributed ideally. Therefore, the benefits of this project expect to anticipate backing the welfare of the Lelemer town community.

Abstrak

Air merupakan kebutuhan paling utama yang harus tersedia untuk menunjang kehidupan manusia. Secara turun temurun masyarakat melalui kebiasaan, dan budaya memanfaatkan sumber air di wilayahnya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Akan tetapi pada perkampungan Lelemer justru mengalami kekurangan debit air baik itu untuk keperluan minum, mandi dan lain-lain. Hal ini disebabkan salah satu sumber mata air, yaitu mata air Tumpasan Bara tidak dapat mereka maksimalkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan. Tumpasan Bara merupakan limpasan air dari bebatuan tebing dengan kualitas tanah yang labil, sehingga rentan akan longsoran tanah yang dapat mencemari bahkan menutup pipa penyalur air dikarenakan infrastruktur pengelolaan mata air tersebut belum mememenuhi standar. Maka tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan adalah untuk melakukan perbaikan infrastrukur hulu agar air bersih dapat tersalurkan dan mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat perkampungan Lelemer. Hal ini dilakukan dengan memperbaiki infrastrukur hulu agar air bersih dapat tersalurkan dengan optimal. Sehingga hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat perkampungan Lelemer.

Implementation of Traumatic Healing for Earthquake Victim Children through Fun Outbound Activities

On November 21, 2022, Cianjur, West Java, experienced an earthquake with a magnitude of Mw 5.6, followed by 140 aftershocks until November 22, 2022. The earthquake resulted in loss of life, injuries, and infrastructure damage. The damaged school conditions due to the earthquake affected the learning environment for children, subsequently influencing their motivation and academic performance. Additionally, the psychological impact on survivors, particularly children, included anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This article discusses the importance of psychological recovery for children after a disaster, particularly earthquakes, using fun outbound activities as a method of traumatic healing. Fun outbound comprises outdoor activities involving games, physical challenges, and group cooperation. The study indicates that fun outbound can assist children in overcoming fear and trauma, boost self-confidence, and develop social skills. The research was conducted at SDN Sukamaju 1 Cugenang, one of the schools significantly affected by the earthquake. Through tangram puzzle games and synchronized cooperation, students experienced joy and enthusiasm, with over 50% of them reporting relief from fear and trauma. Evaluation results demonstrate the effectiveness of fun outbound in supporting the psychological recovery of children after a disaster. In conclusion, the fun outbound method can be an effective tool in helping earthquake-affected children overcome trauma, enhance self-confidence, and build social skills, creating a positive and enjoyable environment for children in challenging post-earthquake situations.

In this PkM, we aim to improve the quality of teaching and learning activities using information technology at Orange Islamic School in Palembang, South Sumatra. Our PkM implementation methods include introducing and applying technological information in the learning process, training teachers to use technological information, and involving parents in education. We also collect data to disseminate the impact of using information technology in teaching and learning activities. The results of this PkM show that the use of information technology at Orange Islamic School has succeeded in improving the quality of teaching and learning activities. Teachers can deliver learning material in a more interesting and interactive way, thereby increasing student participation and understanding. The use of information technology in teaching and learning activities at Orange Islamic School has made a significant contribution to improving the quality of education.

Exploring Challenges and Solutions in Tourism Village Management in the Manggarai Region, NTT

Objects in tourism villages are valuable resources which government villages can employ to improve the prosperity of rural communities throughout Indonesia. Using these assets is an essential component of managing a tourist destination. The level of service provided to tourists is determined by how successfully the management performs their responsibilities. This Community Service explores the challenges that arise when developing eight tourist villages in the Manggarai district of West Flores, Indonesia. This Community Service is expected to address numerous problems in the management of eight tourist villages by involving 93 tourism stakeholders. This Community Service activity was carried out in eight villages during two months (November – December 2023). Data collection in this service through questionnaires, observations and interviews, then data was analyzed descriptive-quantitatively. The results show that eight villages have a number of obstacles, such as unavailability of tourist information centers in tourist villages (86%), English language communication (82.8%), rabid animals or other infectious agents at tourist locations (82.8%), infrastructure (78 .5%), environmental sustainability (77.4%), followed by hygiene and health issues (71%). The West Flores tourism community has a lot of potential, but it will only come true if it has been prepared for and the right steps are taken immediately.

Assistance for Educators' Scientific Publications Through Writing Scientific Articles for Journal Publications

One of the activities of professional development for teachers is Scientific Publication. Nonetheless, many teachers have a problem with writing scientific work. Therefore, this community service was done to improve the teachers’ scientific publication through the writing process of a scientific article for journal publication. The type of community service in this research is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The activity of this community service was to provide training/assistance for improving the scientific publication. It was conducted in the form of providing training in article writing for the journal to the teachers in Islamic schools in Teluk Kuantan, especially MAN 1 Teluk Kuantan and it involved 25 teachers. The result of this community service was that the teachers as the training participants had a minimum initial understanding of journal articles and the use in improving learning quality in a class. The average indicator as a whole was only 23.725 and it was categorized as infrequent. All indicators that were questioned were in the ‘infrequent’ category. Meanwhile, based on gender-based motivation, it was found that both genders of the training participant had a motivation that was categorized as ‘frequent’ in participating in the training. However, there was a difference in the aspect for the indicator of being confident to be able to participate well and the readiness of sufficient basic knowledge. The implication of this community service is the importance of this activity and the like for the people to change the mindset and the understanding of the teachers as the training participants to be better.

Empowerment of Family Assistance Teams Through IMAH GIZI Modeling in the Stunting Locus of Tasikmalaya Regency

Stunted toddlers in Cikunir Village have increased from 88 toddlers in 2020 to 107 toddlers in 2022. As many as 26.78% of pregnant women at risk and 42% of stunted toddlers in Cikunir Village have received assistance. The family assistance team (TPK) has an important role in mapping stunting risk groups and assisting families in stunting recovery, so efforts need to be made to increase the capacity of the TPK in carrying out its role. The activities carried out took the form of training as an effort to increase the capacity of the family assistance team in detecting risk groups as well as family assistance in the form of IMAH Gizi modeling. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in the capacity of the accompanying team after attending training on anthropometric measurements, surveillance and counseling communication. Apart from that, the accompanying team was able to provide family assistance by establishing the IMAH Gizi model in three hamlets. This community empowerment activity through training and nutritional modeling can be expanded and replicated in other localities so that it can help local governments in mapping stunting risk groups and facilitate interventions to assist stunting risk groups.
