Interventions to Prevent Musculoskeletal Disorders and Education on Liquid Waste Management among Weavers on Letti Island

Knowledge regarding ergonomic positions and chairs specifically designed to support comfort when working is very much needed by weavers when working. This will prevent the occurrence of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), explicitly conditions that can affect muscles, bones and joints. The method used in this activity is qualitative observational. This activity was carried out at the Niawarat and Raitawun Weaver Group on Leti Island, Southwest Maluku District. This community service activity began by providing education regarding MSDs and environmental sanitation related to trash and liquid waste from weaving, followed by education on using healthy, ergonomic chairs on non-machine looms. The results of the evaluation of weavers' knowledge were measured using process evaluation, specifically during the process of providing materials and output evaluation, explicitly by asking questions after the activity was completed, and skills in using an ergonomically healthy chair. It is hoped that this activity can be sustainable by the weaving group so that they remain healthy and productive.

Pelatihan Pengolahan Minyak Jelantah Sebagai Upaya Untuk Menumbuhkan Motivasi Berwirausaha Masyarakat Desa Ciseeng Kabupaten Bogor

Pengabdian masyarakat dengan program pelatihan pengolahan minyak jelantah dilaksanakan berdasarkan atas pertimbangan kebutuhan desa Ciseeng. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat serta menumbuhkan motivasi untuk berwirausaha. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu 1) mediasi yaitu upaya untuk menjebatani terjalinnya kerjasama dalam pengelolaan limbah minyak jelantah antara Desa Ciseeng dan PT RMJ; 2) sosialisasi, yaitu pengenalan pemanfaatan minyak jelantah; 3) pelatihan, yaitu pemberian panduan dan praktik mengolah minyak jelantah menjadi sabun dan lilin. Hasil pelatihan diukur dengan menggunakan pretest dan posttes yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat untuk tidak membuang minyak jelantah sembarangan sebesar 76,9%. Peningkatan pengetahuan tentang minyak jelantah dapat diolah Kembali menjadi sabun dan lilin sebesar 23,1 %, peningkatan pengetahuan cara mengolah minyak jelantah menjadi sabun dan lilin sebesar 30,8%, serta menumbuhkan motivasi untuk berwirausaha yang ditunjukkan dengan minatnya untuk memproduksi sabun dan lilin dari minyak jelantah sebesar 100%.

Minimnya pengasuhan dan perlindungan merupakan permasalahan yang terjadi pada Anak Pekerja Migran Indonesia (APM). Apalagi Pekerja Migran Indonesia tinggal jauh dari keluarga dan anak dan menghadapi stresor yang menjadi tantangan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan pengasuhan positif. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya dari berbagai pihak untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek dari Program Pengabdian Masyarakat (PPM) berupa pelatihan keterampilan pengasuhan terhadap pengetahuan pengasuhan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI), mencakup pengetahuan tentang pemahaman diri PMI sebagai orang tua, hubungan yang sehat dalam keluarga, hak-hak anak, dan pola asuh yang positif. Program PPM yang dilakukan berupa workshop online sebagai bagian dari layanan psikologis melalui platform Zoom dan konsultasi psikologis melalui WhatsApp. Untuk menguji keberhasilan pelatihan ini, digunakan metode pra-eksperimental dengan desain one group pre test-post test. Peserta pelatihan ini adalah 80 Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) yang berdomisili di Singapura (dengan rentang usia 18-43 tahun dan semuanya berjenis kelamin perempuan). Rangkaian program dilaksanakan dari tanggal 18-25 Juli 2021. Pengetahuan orang tua mengenai mindful parenting dievaluasi menggunakan pre dan post-test (tes awal dan akhir) dengan analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penghitungan uji beda menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan antar peserta mengenai topik atau isu yang dibahas dalam Pelatihan (p = 0,00, p<0,05) sehingga implementasi PPM dapat dibuktikan berhasil.

Limbah perikanan di Kota Bitung banyak yang pada akhirnya di buang ke laut, baik limbah darah, kepala ikan maupun bagian perut ikan. Salah satu manfaat limbah perikanan adalah sebagai biogas. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dilaksanakan di desa Makalisung, Sulawesi Utara dengan tema pemanfaatan limbah perikanan sebagai biogas. Kegiatan pengabdian diawali dengan penyiapan bahan dasar biogas berupa darah ikan, jeroan ikan, dan kotoran sapi pada perbandingan volume 1:1:1 yang dibuat satu bulan sebelum pelaksanaan kegiatan. Kemudian dilajutkan dengan kegiatan sosialisasi dan demonstrasi uji nyala saat kegiatan pengabdian. Pada saat kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung, masyarakat sangat tertarik pada materi biogas. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya tanya jawab yang interaktif antara tim pengabdian dengan masyarakat, keaktifan masyarakat dalam demonstrasi uji nyala, keinginan mengembangkan biogas menggunakan kotoran babi pengganti kotoran sapi, serta keinginan masyarakat untuk memasang instalasi biogas di rumah untuk kebutuhan primer rumah tangga seperti untuk memasak dan penerangan.

Dopamine merupakan prekursor norepinefrin dan epinefrin. Dopamine berfungsi sebagai hormon, neurotransmitter dan mempunyai peran penting didalam tubuh dan otak. Kadar dopamine yang berlebih di dalam otak dapat menyebabkan seseorang kecanduan suatu hal yang dapat menghasilkan kesenangan sesaat. Hal ini mengakibatkan seseorang akan melakukan kegiatan yang kompulsif sehingga mengurangi produktivitas. Pengurangan kadar dopamine dapat dilakukan dengan metode dopamine detox. Salah satu contoh pemuda yang terdampak perilaku kompulsif adalah pemuda yang tergabung dalam organisasi Barisan Muda Riau (BMR). Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah membantu pemuda meningkatkan produktivitas dengan menerapkan Program Dopamine Detox (PDTox). Metode pelaksanaan diawali dengan sosialisasi, penyampaian materi, pendampingan dan monitoring PDTox secara berkala selama 70 hari. Hasil dari monitoring menunjukkan perubahan frekuensi bad habits peseta semakin menurun dan frekuensi good habits yang terbentuk mencapai garis kebiasaan sehingga good habits akan otomatis dilakukan peserta. Hasil progress ultimate goals peserta rata-rata mencapai 80% artinya good habits linier membentuk produktivitas yang efisien.

Fulfillment of food can be done through the implementation of Sustainable Food Yards. KWT Sejati has difficulty providing food throughout the year. The yard owned is not productive because it has dry land biophysics with a dry climate. This condition is also a factor that influences people's food status (food insecurity). Management of dry land as agricultural land requires the adoption of technology. Verticulture technology can be used as an alternative to meet food needs in Karing. This activity aims to apply P2L to KWT Sejati through verticulture as a technology for cultivating vegetables on dry land. The method for implementing this activity is counseling and demonstration using a learning by doing system. The results of this activity provide many benefits to KWT Sejati, including: ease in managing dry land as agricultural land, being able to engineer planting media to improve soil quality, and producing higher production and income compared to using a raised bed system, and has the potential to overcome food insecurity conditions

Competency-Based Training for Business and Management’s Vocational Teachers in East Kalimantan

As evidence of their proficiency, Accounting Vocational School graduates are required to possess a TA Junior Competency Certificate. There is only one certified accounting technician teacher in Balikpapan now. This service attempts to address this problem by certifying accounting teachers with professional skills. It is envisaged that as SMK Accounting teachers become certified, SMK graduates' competence will rise as well. The program provided as part of this community service aims to assist in resolving current issues by providing: (1) offline training to get ready for junior accounting technician competency exam; and (2) support during the exam. Forty-five teachers from vocational schools in East Kalimantan participated in this program. Overall, 56% of participants reported feeling extremely satisfied, and up to 44% reported feeling satisfied and assisted by the training. According to the feedback from this program, participants thought that more training time was necessary, particularly for computer accounting application schemes.

Edukasi dan Pelatihan Pembuatan Makanan Sehat dari Ikan Nila Untuk Pencegahan Stunting di Kecamatan Biru-Biru, Deli Serdang

Ikan nila adalah ikan air tawar yang memiliki kandungan protein yang tinggi, yaitu 43,76%, lemak 7,01% dan kadar abu 6,80%. Kecamatan Biru-Biru, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, merupakan salah satu pusat budidaya Ikan Nila di Sumatera Utara. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat Kecamatan Biru-Biru dalam mengolah ikan nila menjadi produk makanan yang sehat dan bermanfaat dalam rangka pencegahan stunting pada anak. Tim telah melakukan sosialisasi, edukasi dan pendampingan dalam mengolah ikan nila menjadi makanan berupa biskuit dan abon. Sebelum kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan, tingkat pemahaman dan minat masyarakat berada dalam rentang 70-94% sedangkan setelah kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan, tingkat pemahaman dan minat masyarakat berada dalam rentang 81-100%. Pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan terbukti meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan Ikan nila menjadi olahan produk pangan berupa abon dan biskuit sehingga dapat menjadi solusi dalam rangka pencegahan stunting pada anak. Selain bermanfaat bagi kesehatan, olahan produk ini dapat menjadi produk usaha yang memiliki peluang daya saing yang tinggi ke depannya.

MSMEs in Sambikerep District were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic which was marked by a decline in business performance. MSMEs need strategies based on business analysis to improve the performance of business units. SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) is an internal and external analysis to determine business unit strategies. Community service activities in the form of assistance in the preparation of SWOT analysis were given to MSME actors in Sambicrep District, Surabaya City. Assistance was provided to 20 MSME actors (MSME owners). This mentoring activity was carried out in October in four meetings. The training method is provided offline which consists of several activities, namely: internal analysis, external analysis, mentoring, preparation and presentation of SWOT matrix and determination of business strategy. The purpose of mentoring activities is to provide knowledge on the preparation of business analysis (SWOT analysis) so that MSME actors can compile business strategies to improve business unit performance. Community service activities have a central role in supporting sustainable economic growth, especially in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) sector. UMKM processing wood-based crafts, as an integral part of local cultural diversity, face significant energy challenges in sustainable development. In order to overcome this obstacle, this community service activity focuses on implementing a Hybrid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) that is integrated with a lathe for UMKM processing wood-based crafts. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide sustainable solutions for UMKM in terms of reliable energy, while supporting the development of environmentally friendly technologies. The methodology applied includes an initial survey of energy needs, design and installation of the Hybrid PLTS system, lathe operator training, and continuous performance monitoring. This activity involves collaboration with UMKM owners and the local village government to ensure the implementation of solutions that are relevant to real needs and conditions. The results of this activity show that the implementation of Hybrid PLTS integrated with lathes has a significant positive impact on production efficiency and product quality for UMKM. These activities make a real contribution to sustainable economic development at the local level. The results can be used as a model for similar developments in other UMKM sectors.

This dedication is underpinned by public insight, and manager Mushalla Darul Ittihad's opinion about alternative energy still needs to be improved. The imbalance between the available electricity and the electricity load used often disrupts electricity due to overload. Interfere with the smoothness of worship activities. Besides lighting and sound amplifiers, the biggest electric charge lies on the water pumps that live all day. Therefore, additional power sources not charging the mushalla's operating costs are needed to cope with the problem. This activity aims to educate participants and offer ideas on the usage of alternative energy in electric water pumps. Implementation method involves observation, design, installation, and education of hybrid systems using solar energy and PLN for water pump energy. The result of the activity is increased knowledge and an installed solar power system for the water pump. Peningkatan Kesadaran Lingkungan Warga Kampung Lele Kediri melalui Pengolahan Limbah Minyak Jelantah

Pelaku usaha kuliner memiliki potensi besar dalam menghasilkan limbah dari minyak jelantah. Minyak jelantah berdampak serius terhadap lingkungan. Wisata kuliner Kampung Lele menghasilkan limbah minyak jelantah dalam jumlah besar. Salah satu upaya pengelolaan minyak jelantah adalah dengan mengolahnya menjadi sabun. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk menambah pengetahuan masyarakat Kampung Lele dalam pengolahan minyak jelantah melalui pelatihan pembuatan sabun dan analisis efektivitas pelatihan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan desain pre-eksperimental berupa single group pretest-posttest design. Hasilnya pengetahuan warga Kampung Lele meningkat, terbukti dengan nilai posttest yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai pretest. Selain itu, rata-rata nilai N-Gain yang dicapai sebesar 57,45% menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pembuatan sabun dari minyak jelantah cukup efektif. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini, warga Kampung Lele mempunyai kemampuan dalam mengelola limbah minyak jelantah yang dihasilkan serta berpotensi untuk dijadikan produk tambahan yang bernilai ekonomi.

Canva-Based Learning Media Creation Training for Elementary School Teachers

Community service activities aim to provide participants with experience using Canva to create more interactive learning media and increase participants' motivation in teaching. Canva is currently the most popular website application for graphic design and brand building. Participants can also use Canva as a learning medium; they can also use Canva for social media and to support school activities. Participants can take advantage of better and more templates with Canva Pro. This training was attended by 17 participants: school principals, teachers, and administrative participants. The methods include lectures, question-and-answer discussions, demonstrations, and group presentations. The evaluation showed participants could make PowerPoint presentations, flyers, and class schedules. In the results of the questionnaire recapitulation from 17 participants, the maximum score was 100, obtained from respondents with an average score of 92, with the highest participant score being 100 and a minimum score of 83. Apart from teachers, students can also use the Canva application.

H5P (HTML5 Package) is an open-source framework that allows content creators to easily create and share interactive content on the web. H5P training for creating videos with quizzes is designed to introduce users to the basic concepts of creating interactive videos involving questions or quizzes for learning purposes. Training usually involves several stages, such as introducing H5P, creating videos with quizzes, testing and maintenance, and implementation strategies. For this reason, the aim of this service is to provide training to teachers at Sekolah Kebangsaan Dato' Sagor Malaysia to be able to make learning videos with quizzes assisted by H5P. This service was carried out for 25 teachers at Sekolah Kebangsaan Dato' Sagor Malaysia in a hybrid manner using various approaches, namely the active participation approach, activity orientation approach, program approach and independence approach. The results of the service show that the use of H5P for teachers can provide a more interesting, adaptive and measurable learning experience for students, while giving teachers the opportunity to adapt their teaching methods to continuously changing technological needs and developments. Apart from that, the service has also shown that the specified success indicators have been achieved, namely ≥75% of teachers understand the benefits and use of H5P to make learning videos, attendance at every meeting is 100%, and all teachers can make learning videos with quizzes assisted by H5P

In this website-based scheduling application system for SMAN 1 Madang Suku 1, the author and co-author create a scheduler application that can easily manage schedules that already have integrated data between subjects, teachers, majors, classes at school. the purpose of making this application system is to increase efficiency in the process of scheduling classes and rooms at SMA 1 Madang Rasuan OKU Timur, and also make it easier for students to access the required schedule so that the schedule does not have to be taken at school again. The final result of this research is to produce a web-based application program that can help teachers or school admins to create and manage subject schedules with a good appearance and equipped with various features so that the subject scheduling process becomes more efficient and organized.

The Pancasila student profile strengthening project is an effort to encourage the achievement of the Pancasila student profile by using a new paradigm through project-based learning. Therefore, it is very important that schools can implement and run projects to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. However, SMK Assalafiyyah Sleman has not implemented a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. Therefore, the purpose of this service is to provide training and knowledge about the Pancasila student profile strengthening Project as well as the steps and flows of making the Pancasila student profile strengthening Project module at SMK Assalafiyyah Sleman. The training participants were all teachers at SMK Assalafiyyah Sleman as many as 14 teachers face-to-face using an approach of active participation, coordination and socialization, and independence. The results of Community Service (PKM) show that the achievement of the success indicators that have been set, namely ≥75% of teachers understand related to the project of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. Therefore, Community Service (PKM) has achieved the success indicators that have been set and achieved the goal of making teachers at SMK Assalafiyyah Sleman know and understand related to the project of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. In addition, the results of the research analysis above show that with proper assistance and policy making that favors all aspects involved in the world of education in Indonesia will greatly help the programs in the independent curriculum, one of which is the Pancasila student profile strengthening project program. The processing includes turning belimbing wuluh into sweet belwul preserves, belwul syrup, ie limeng, and asam sunti. Additionally, this PKM focuses on harnessing the potential of previously less productive housewives, forming new entrepreneurial groups, and creating economically self-sufficient communities. The implementation method of this PKM activity includes counseling, training and hands-on practice, packaging and marketing, mentoring, and evaluation. This activity benefits the participants by increasing their knowledge and understanding of business management and the appropriate utilization of natural resources with market value. Based on the evaluation results, there has been an improvement in understanding and skills related to belimbing wuluh processing and the achievement of success indicators.

The preservation of regional culture through this porridge mask workshop is carried out based on the results of our observations both directly and indirectly in the field, because of the lack of public concern, especially the younger generation to preserve this mask culture. In addition, researchers have also concluded that one of the main problems is the high cost of mask-making materials which causes a decrease in public enthusiasm. Therefore, researchers chose this topic to be explored and observed further so that the workshop on preserving the culture of this region can be carried out. In this service, researchers chose the Bina Daya scheme which is more specifically focused on fostering a culture being developed in the community by targeting students as the younger generation. We aim to use recycled paper that becomes waste as the main material. As a result, students are very enthusiastic to take part in this workshop because they can learn new things related to the innovation of making masks made from paper pulp that are environmentally friendly and have economic value.

The Impact Socialization of Fire Disaster Mitigation to Increasing Student’s Knowledge at Muttaqien Junior High School

DKI Jakarta was very disaster-prone area, therefore it necessary to strive for strategic steps to protect every citizen with disaster management efforts. Potential disasters in urban areas other than flooding are building and residential fires. This study was aim to determine the impact of fire disaster mitigation socialization on increasing students' knowledge at SMP Muttaqien, South Jakarta. Impact is calculated by knowing the difference in knowledge before and after socialization. The analysis technique used paired sample T-test. The sample was determined using random sampling, with total of 41 respondents. Based on the results of data processing, it was foundthat there was an increase in knowledge on students about fire disaster mitigation. This can be seen through the increased of the student's mean score, from 79.27 to 85.12. So it can be concluded that this socialization activity has a positive impact on increasing students' knowledge in dealing with fire disasters.

Herbal drinks are a cultural heritage given by our parents that are useful in increasing our immunity. Until now, there are still many people who choose to consume herbal drinks because they are sourced from natural plant materials so that they do not cause side effects and harmful reactions to the body. This Community Service is located in North Landasan Ulin Village, Liang Anggang District. Banjarbaru City where the target is women. Providing education and training on making mandarin syrup (Stenochlaena Palustris (Burn. F) Bedd.) which has the potential to increase immunity. The results of this community service activity showed that the knowledge of making mantle leaf syrup has increased in the percentage of knowledge from the pretest and posttest scores by 70% and residents are able to make a syrup product that has the potential to be efficacious as traditional medicine during the covid-19 pandemic.

The problem with KUBE Dalang Collection's partners is that waste management in Pekanbaru City has not been implemented optimally, where 20% of people are smart about utilizing waste banks in Pekanbaru City. Besides that, the partners also experience the low ability of the existing KUBE groups to carry out the waste bank creative production process, Not yet maximized the craft production process for all KUBE groups under the guidance of Dalang Collection, Insufficient number of KUBE groups carrying out the waste bank creative product production process and 4 .There is still no platform used in order to increase sales and marketing of products produced in the KUBE group. The purpose of the activities carried out is to increase the production and marketing capabilities of the Joint Business Group (KUBE) Dalang Collection Garbage Bank with an approach based on Digital Affiliate Marketing. The Program Activities carried out include: 1). Bridging Program, Mapping the Supply of Waste Raw Materials and Waste Bank Production Training, 2). Community Empowerment-Based New KUBE Group Decentralization Program and 3). Marketing Improvement Program through the Development of the “BASADA” Digital Affiliate Marketing Platform. Outcomes achieved from the activities carried out include: 1). There has been an increase in the ability of the KUBE Dalang Collection community in the field of production and marketing where there are 10 KUBE products, 2). There are 5 KUBE groups that are members of affiliate marketing, and 3) There is a Web-based BASADA application product used by partners in marketing KUBE products

Character development for students means working on the nature of the educational cycle and outcomes that lead to the development of students' personalities and honorable ethics in a comprehensive, coordinated and adjusted manner, according to skills guidelines. One of the problems that occurs at the local level and in the school climate is the low interest of the local community (including high school/mama level students) in the waste problem. The method used in this community service activity is the lecture or socialization method, direction and education by researchers to provide information to Hosana Private High School students about the importance of protecting the surrounding environment and the school. From the results of the socialization and presentation about air pollution and concern for the environment, it appeared that students were very enthusiastic about listening to the presentation from the resource person. After the presentation from the resource person, a discussion session was held on these two topics. From the results of the presentation about air pollution by the resource person to students, it shows that students' knowledge about environmental pollution is relatively good, this is obtained from the average test score carried out after the presentation of 78 obtained from 40 students. Hosana Private High School students have used public transportation to reduce air pollution. Some students use public transportation (angkot), accompanied by their parents and cycle, which is an effort to reduce air pollution. Likewise, the behavior of maintaining school cleanliness has been implemented by students. This can be seen when the socialization event is over, students clean the room and tidy up the room that has been used.

The change in the curriculum in Indonesia from Curriculum 13 (K13) to the Independent Curriculum requires teachers to be ready to face these changes. Changes in learning tools are something that cannot be avoided by teachers as teachers. The learning plan (RPP) has been abandoned and moved to the Teaching Module. The presence of an independent curriculum not only provides changes to learning tools, but also to the competencies that teachers must have. Digital competence to produce interesting teaching modules has of course become an obligation, especially since the government has equipped teachers with the learn.id email. This email is integrated into the licensed Canva application, so teachers no longer have difficulty in designing teaching modules. It is hoped that the use of teaching modules using the Canva application will be able to answer the need for creating interesting teaching tools. A good teaching module does not only lie in its appearance, but also in its content. Writing teaching modules based on local wisdom will certainly make the teaching modules not only quality in terms of appearance, but also in terms of content. Based on the results of interviews with the head of the Subject Teachers' Conference (MGMP) of SMP Kota Pariaman, it is known that teachers are not yet skilled in designing teaching modules using Canva. Apart from that, the teaching modules that have been designed by teachers are not based on local wisdom. This background is what underlies the community service team of lecturers at the Indonesian and Regional Language and Literature Department to carry out training in writing teaching modules. The teaching module writing training that was carried out was attended by 20 Indonesian language subject teachers who are members of the Pariaman City Indonesian Language MGMP. The aim of this service is to provide knowledge and training to Pariaman City Indonesian Language MGMP teachers in using the Canva application in designing independent curriculum teaching modules. The training began with an explanation of the relationship between the use of technology in implementing the independent curriculum, then the material presented was the steps for using the licensed Canva application using a Belajar.id account. Teachers are guided to register. After registration, teachers go to their Canva account and start designing teaching modules. The teaching module designed by the teacher does not contain differentiated learning, therefore the training continues with conveying the essence of differentiated learning. Strategy in writing teaching modules by paying attention to differentiated learning. The training ended with teaching module material containing local wisdom. Teachers design teaching modules based on the independent curriculum which contains local wisdom in the form of guided assignments. Making teaching modules using the Canva application described previously. The training methods used were question and answer, direct practice and demonstration, and evaluation was carried out through distributing questionnaires before and after the training. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed that in general participants were satisfied with the training schedule and time, as well as the topics presented. Even though some participants experienced difficulties due to inadequate internet connections and devices, there were indications that the participants succeeded in increasing their knowledge and motivation in using the Canva application through the Belajar.id account. Apart from that, the teaching modules produced by teachers are also good and interesting.

The purpose of this activity is to improve the competence of fish feed manufacturing and can increase fish sales production. The approach method carried out in this activity is a participatory Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach starting with a survey and problem identification, socialization and counseling training on making fish meal, training and direct technical guidance on making feed formulations, and assistance in making fish feed. The result of this dedication is that partners know the technology of making feed using available and abundant ingredients so as to reduce production expenditure in fish farming. Counseling and training activities in community service received good enthusiasm from members and partners of direct participants in making fish feed. The result of service activities is that partners gain knowledge and skills in making independent fish feed from waste and local raw materials. Making independent feed is able to increase production profits by reducing production costs incurred. The potential for developing activities can encourage productivity and provision of skills that can be disseminated to the wider community.

Training on Arduino-based Automation Basics for Students of MA Al Madinah Boyolali

Abstract

The world is currently undergoing a transition process from Industrial Revolution 4.0 to Industrial Revolution 5.0. Preparation is needed, especially in the field of education to provide learning programs related to automation technology. The training was conducted at MA Al Madinah Boyolali. Data collection methods through questionnaires were used to analyze the effect of providing this training program in improving students' understanding of the basics of automation. The training was incorporated into the school's extracurricular which were held once a week. There were 3 basics automation projects: automatic light based on PIR sensor, automatic parking sensor based on ultrasonic sensor, and automatic clothesline. The training stages began with pre-test, introduction to Arduino, projects, trials, final exam, and post-test. The training provided 89.22% understanding to students, with a great predicate. Training on the basics of automation is needed for students as a preparation for global challenges and the Industrial Revolution 5.0.

Abstrak

Dunia saat ini sedang mengalami proses transisi dari Revolusi Industri 4.0 ke Revolusi Industri 5.0. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan persiapan terutama pada bidang pendidikan untuk memberikan kegiatan pembelajaran terkait teknologi otomatisasi. Pelatihan dilakukan di MA Al Madinah Boyolali. Metode pengumpulan data melalui angket digunakan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengaadaan program pelatihan ini dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap dasar-dasar otomatisasi. Pelatihan ini tergabung pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sekolah yang diselenggarakan sekali dalam sepekan. Pelatihan terdiri 3 proyek otomatisasi sederhana, yaitu lampu otomatis berbasis sensor PIR, sensor parkir otomatis berbasis sensor ultrasonik, dan jemuran otomatis. Tahapan pelatihan dimulai dari tes pra-pelatihan, pengenalan Arduino, proyek, uji coba, serta ujian akhir dan tes pasa-pelatihan. Pelatihan memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa sebesar 89,22%, dengan predikat sangat baik. Pelatihan dasar-dasar otomatisasi dibutuhkan untuk siswa sebagai wujud persiapan menghadapi tantangan global dan Revolusi Industri 5.0.

Active Learning Training for Mathematics Teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Samarinda City

Active learning training for madrasah tsanawiyah mathematics teachers throughout Samarinda City was carried out with the aim of enabling teachers to develop active learning scenarios and understand the elements of an independent curriculum such as differentiated learning, numeracy literacy, and media creation using the Geogebra application. This service approach uses PAR because the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Mathematics MGMP has minimal activities and limited budget. The results of this service show that the participants who took part in the training were 21 mathematics teachers from 16 Madrasah Tsanawiyah based on the willingness of the teachers to fill out the form which was distributed via Google Form. After being given training and assistance, teachers can develop active learning scenarios in lesson implementation plans, develop numeracy literacy assessment instruments, and create learning media with the Geogebra application to be used for teaching in class. Other results show that learning in class makes students more active and students' mathematics learning outcomes increase.

Problems that often occur in elementary school students related to growth and development include: frequent daydreaming, feelings of inferiority, frequent dependence on friends, difficulty adjusting to classmates, frequent complaints, jealousy, often alone, cheating, difficulty in capturing school lessons, making noise in class. Symptoms of this behavior are the result of misparenting in the family, differences in educational, socioeconomic backgrounds and deviations in the child's personality. From the school side, this problem arises because of the mistakes and weaknesses of teachers in treating children or the lack of teacher ability to deal with large numbers of students as found in government elementary schools such as only public elementary schools in Harjosari Village, Pekanbaru City. This community service activity is one of the efforts to realize the Tri Dharma of higher education. The purpose of this community service is to find out how the application of Therapeutic Group Therapy (TKT) for school-age children in grade III students. This community service activity is planned to be held at SD Negeri in Kelurahan, Kelurahan Delima, Tampan District, Pekanbaru from February to September 2023 (8 Months). This service activity is in the form of applying Therapeutic Group Therapy and Self Help Group (SHG) to students. The target participants are 36 students. The application of TKT to school children consists of 7 sessions. This activity began with the implementation of TKT session 1, namely stimulation of growth in the development of industrial aspects, session 2, namely stimulation of motor aspects, Session 3 is stimulation of cognitive and language aspects, session 4 is stimulation of emotional and personality aspects, session 5 is stimulation of moral and spiritual aspects, session 6 is stimulation of psychosocial aspects and session 7 is stimulation of all aspects from session 1 to session 6. Implementation techniques are describing, modeling, role playing, feedback, transferring. The output of this PKM activity is a scientific article published in a national community service journal accredited by Sinta 4 (Community Empowerment Journal). The target achievement is that grade III students of Pekanbaru City State Elementary School are able to carry out industrial stimulation, motor stimulation, cognitive and language stimulation, emotional and personality stimulation, moral and spiritual stimulation and psychosocial stimulation so that with this stimulation the growth and development of school-age children is normal which is needed in undergoing the educational process.

The increase in the number of elderly every year requires serious attention and handling because the elderly experience a decline physically, biologically and psychologically which is closely related to economic, social and cultural problems. Social changes that occur in the elderly are cognitive and psychomotor decline. The decline in both functions causes the elderly to experience psychosocial aspects related to the personality of the elderly while psychological changes that occur in the elderly include short-term memory, frustration, loneliness, fear, death, depression, and anxiety. Assistance from Posyandu Cadres to Overcome Digestive Problems of Babies & Toddlers in Preventing Stunting in Harjosari Village, Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru, Riau

One of the factors causing stunting is infectious diseases. An infection that is often suffered by babies under five is diarrhea. Parents need to know the role of diarrhea in causing stunting. The role of Posyandu Toddler cadres is very important in providing knowledge to parents. Through the Student Creativity Program (PKM), the team carries out community service activities in the form of mentoring cadres using the brainstorming method. The activity aims to increase cadres' knowledge about digestive problems in babies and toddlers in the context of preventing stunting. Community service activities are carried out at the Toddler Posyandu, Harjosari Village, Pekanbaru, Riau, namely at six Posyandu. The media used are videos, material presentations and leaflets. There are 3 stages of activity, namely preparation, brainstorming and evaluation. The results obtained showed an increase in the level of high knowledge of 53% between the pre-test and post-test results. Mentoring cadres through the brainstorming method can increase cadres' level of knowledge. It is hoped that brainstorming activities can continue to be carried out between cadres, the community and Puskesmas officers so that health problems can be immediately addressed and prevented.

Increasing the Economic Value of Mangrove Plants Through Ecoprint Product Manufacturing Training

Setapuk Besar Sub-district has a mangrove area due to community conservation independently. However, few people use mangrove plant leaves as natural dyes and essential ingredients for eco-print products. This service activity is intended so the community can independently produce high-quality, attractive eco-print products. The methods applied are a presentation of material, discussion, demonstration, and practice of making eco-print products using the pounding technique. This PKM activity has increased their knowledge and skills regarding using mangrove plant leaves as natural dyes to manufacture eco-print products. The participants' enthusiasm, consisting of Surya Perdana Mandiri NGO members and Setapuk Besar Sub-District PKK women, understood the training material and practiced it at each activity stage. Based on the results of the questionnaire as an evaluation material for PKM activities, it is known that there has been a very significant change in knowledge and skills (above 80%) of the training participants for making eco-print products to increase the economic value of mangrove plants.

Perkembangan teknologi, khususnya internet, membawa dampak signifikan dengan memungkinkan penyebaran berita hoaks. Literasi digital menjadi penting, terutama bagi siswa aktif dalam internet dan media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ceramah, kuesioner, dan penjelasan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa dalam mengenali dan mencegah penyebaran berita palsu. Studi literatur menyoroti dampak negatif berita hoaks, terutama terkait isu SARA dan politik, di media sosial seperti Twitter dan Instagram. Masalah utama literasi digital di sekolah adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang program literasi digital. Pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan landasan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap penyebaran berita hoaks di era digital. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 69.78%, membuktikan bahwa pendekatan interaktif dan penerapan literasi digital dapat memberikan manfaat positif.

Kampung jamu di kelurahan Wonolopo kecamatan Mijen Semarang adalah sentra produsen jamu Gendong. Wilayah pemasarannya masih di Semarang karena produk tidak awet, sehingga berpotensi menurunkan daya saing dengan produk pabrikan.

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PPM) ini adalah melatih keterampilan mitra membuat jamu serbuk yang berkualitas, mengemasnya dan dapat memasarkan produknya secara online sehingga wilayah pemasarannya lebih luas

Metode kegiatan PPM adalah pelatihan membuat jamu serbuk dan pengemasannya serta pelatihan pembuatan branding dan berjualan online.

Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 15 Juli dan 3 September 2022, kepada 15 orang anggota Paguyuban produsen jamu gendong “Sumber Husodo”. Hasil pelatihan adalah peserta dapat mempraktekkan membuat jamu serbuk dan mengemasnya. Peserta pelatihan juga dapat membuat branding produk jamunya. Peserta juga dapat mempraktekkan penggunaan aplikasi berjualan online, menggunakan facebook, instagram dan tiktok. Simpulan dari kegiatan PPM ini adalah mitra memiliki bekal untuk melakukan diversifikasi produk dan memperluas wilayah pemasarannya, sehingga diharapkan dapat bertahan dan bersaing dengan produk jamu pabrikan.

The community service carried out in Pagar Alam City is a form of effort to increase teacher professionalism in creating independent curriculum teaching modules. The methods used in implementing community service are socialization, training, practice, mentoring, and evaluation. This training material was carried out in two stages, where the first stage focused more on providing information about material related to teaching modules, differentiated learning, and differentiated learning-based teaching modules. Pekanbaru City has 1,034 registered MSMEs that are engaged in producing various products from wood. This PKM activity has succeeded in providing education and assistance to MSME Furniqa and MSME KadoKekayuan partners regarding Digital Adoption, Basics of Digital Media, Creating Digital Content, Digital Benchmarking, Advertising on Google and Meta (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok), Maximizing Digital Marketing (Digital Simulation Marketing Templates), Getting to Know Analytics (Google and Meta), Measuring the Effectiveness of Advertising Campaigns, and Optimizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) through content. As an evaluation, the level of success of activities and understanding of partners has been measured by obtaining results >80%.
