PERTUNJUKAN TEATER “LETTING GO” TERINSPIRASI DARI KASUS KRISIS IDENTITAS PADA SEORANG AKTOR (EKSPLORASI MAKE-UP SEBAGAI PERUBAHAN IDENTITAS )

The work of an actor is not an easy thing to do because it requires various processes that are not simple to be able to play a character. Although. every actor has their own way to prepare the character that is about to play, they must be able to take the right approach both physically and psychologically to learn and get into a character. However, after the performace some actors have often experienced difficulties letting go of the character that has been played. This study aimed to shed light on a phenomenon that often occurs to actors and also to created a theater performance to represent identity crisis that happened in the actors field. The method used in this study is the qualitative method by using descriptive analysis, which aims to interpret the problem under this study understandably. This study revealed that it is true there is an identity crisis issue happening in actors field, which at the end was also gave a rise to a theatrical performance entitled “Letting Go”. That tells a story about the other side of a middle-aged woman’s life named Kana who is also an actor in her young. The performance that shows how that middle-aged woman struggle to balance the live between her actor’s lives (in her glorious era) and her actual lives. This art explores the use of make-up as a different approach from other arts.

KAJIAN MENGENAI PERCERAIAN MENURUT PEMIKIRAN RAJA ALI HAJI: REFLEKSI SYAIR SULUH PEGAWAI

The manuscript of Syair Suluh Pegawai is a literary work authored by Raja Ali Haji, addressing aspects of marital life, including divorce. This syair serves as a guide for officials involved in marital affairs. In addition to outlining marriage guidelines and regulations, Raja Ali Haji also incorporates verses concerning divorce cases, notably through the narrative "Kawin Cina Buta" found within the text of "Syair Lebai Guntur." This study examines divorce in Raja Ali Haji's perspective employing a textual approach within a historical context centered on the author. The research methodology adopted is qualitative descriptive. Analysis reveals that Raja Ali Haji provides marital guidelines rooted in Islamic law, encompassing issues such as different types of divorce—khulu bertalak, talak bid’i, talak makruh, talik talak, and issues related to the pronunciation of talak. To elucidate these guidelines, Raja Ali Haji employs the story of "Kawin Cina Buta" as an illustrative example for understanding divorce matters.

MAKNA DAN NILAI TRADISI MAKATN SIAM PADA MASYARAKAT DAYAK KANAYATN DUSUN SABORO KECAMATAN SENGAH TEMILA KABUPATEN LANDAK

Tradition is a result of customs practiced by a group of people within their customs and beliefs. Traditions are passed down from generation to generation, becoming habits that are considered and viewed as something of high value and meaning by society. This research aims to obtain information about the meaning of the Makatn Siam tradition among the Dayak Kanayatn community in Saboro Village, Sengah Temila District, Landak Regency. In this study, researchers used a descriptive qualitative method with an ethnographic approach to describe and explain a problem based on facts collected as they were at the time the research was conducted. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The meaning and value of the Makatn Siam tradition in the Dayak Kanayatn community serve as a life guide for every community member who practices it. Meanwhile, marriage is considered sacred and very important for human life to continue their lineage. The stages of implementing the traditional marriage ceremony in the Makatn Siam tradition begin with barawas (proposal process), bakomo' (family consultation), engagement, preparation, pre-wedding (pajajank), preparation during the wedding (batutuk), traditional wedding ceremony, and these stages are still used and preserved to this day.

BELE KAMPUNG SEKODI: INTERAKSIONISME SIMBOLIK

The environment is one of the most important aspects of a community. So is the Sekodi community with the Bele Kampung tradition. This research is intended to obtain an overview of (a) To find out the process of implementing the Bele Kampung tradition in the Tanjung Community of Sekodi Village. (b) To find out the meaning of the Bele Kampung tradition in the people of Tanjung , Sekodi Village. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative research type used to reveal and describe how the Bele Kampung tradition occurs in maintaining the village in Sekodi village, Bengkalis Regency. Data were obtained from informants/speakers through interviews, recording and observation. The data obtained was then analyzed. Based on the research results. The symbols in the Bele Kampung tradition contain complex and deep meanings. The Bele Kampung tradition is carried out at the house of the implementing shaman once a year after a deliberative decision. It is done for three consecutive days. On the first day, they send a pebuang tool to the Tanjung and recite a congratulatory prayer there, then return home with water for bathing on the third day. On the second day, there is swinging, and the community is given words of advice and patted with fresh flour before swinging. After swinging and patting fresh flour, they then send pebuang tools to Tumu, Nipah, and Baran, and throw away the ancak used for bathing. On the third day, residents of Tanjung from three sacred places: Tanjung, Nipah, and Tumu. This tradition is very useful in maintaining the cleanliness and preservation of the village traditionally and the clean culture continues to be well maintained

ANALISIS NILAI MORAL DALAM NOVEL “LEMBARAN TERABAIKAN” KARYA NOIBE HALAWA

This research aims to find out and describe the moral values contained in Noibe Halawa's Neglected Sheet. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data for this research are the texts in the novel Selamat Terabaikan by Noibe Halawa. The data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research and discussion of the novel Selamat Terabaikan by Noibe Halawa, several conclusions can be drawn, namely that the forms of moral values contained in the novel Selamat Terabaikan include: the form of moral values has three types, namely; the first is the form of moral values in human relations with God which has variants in the form of believing and praying to God, and giving thanks; secondly, the manifestation of moral values in humans' relationships with themselves has the variants of patience, sincerity, honesty, self-confidence, simplicity and surrender; Meanwhile, the form of moral values in human relations with other humans is mutual help and caring for others. The most data found in the form of moral values is the form of moral values of human relationships with themselves. The total data that has been obtained as a manifestation of moral values in this novel is 21 data.
