Thus, the objective of the research is describe and analyze the similarities and differences of the&nbsp; elements of deux ex machina used in&nbsp; eastern and western folklores because these two&nbsp; chosen folklores reflect the tendency of&nbsp; both easterners and westerners in using the elements of deux ex machina in creating the folklores. Related to that, this analysis applies descriptive analysis in which the result of the analysis will be described clearly. The research focused on the dramatic elements. That’re produce the scene and the structure of the play in the show. In Teater Mendu's performing arts at Matan Theater, actors do not use text or texts as a guide to dialogue. Actors only speak of dialogue spontaneously. This is where the emergence of these aesthetic elements, which cannot be reviewed with modern dramaturgy approaches. This study uses Dramaturgy theory with a descriptive qualitative approach. From its history, </em>Bangsawan<em> drama owed to Indian traders who brought wayang Parsi to Malay Peninsula (Malaysia, Sumatera, and to Temasik (Singapore)). Malay “</em>Bangsawan<em>” drama nowdays undergoes changes. The “</em>Bangsawan<em>” drama changes the existed convention which differentities it from the “old </em>Bangsawan<em>” is then called the “new </em>Bangsawan<em>”. This change is beneficial for the continuity of “Malay </em>Bangsawan<em>” drama because a good performance should be able to adapt with the social condition. This writing views how the changes in form and structure occur in Malay “</em>Bangsawan<em>” drama. The play presents about life around the kingdom, presented according </em><em>to </em><em>the custom and the rules that have been determined. The original Malay stories that made into </em>Bangsawan<em> drama performances are </em>Hang Tuah Lima Bersaudara, Sultan Mahmud Mangkat Dijulang <em>and </em>Laksamana Bintan<em>. The story of </em>Raja Kecil<em> was</em> <em>taken from the history of the founder of Siak Kingdom which is packed into very interesting form of theater to be studied. The </em><em>object </em><em>of this </em><em>study</em><em> focus</em><em>es</em><em> on the texture of the play in the performance of the Raja Kecil. </em><em>This research use</em><em>s</em><em> Dramaturgy theory by using a descriptive qualitative approach method.
