Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kepemimpinan mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi BPBJ Provinsi Riau. Kemudian untuk mengetahui apakah motivasi pelayanan publik mampu menjadi mediator pada pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap komitmen organisasi BPBJ Provinsi Riau. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menjelaskan bahwa paradigma penelitian yang menekankan pada pemahaman mengenai masalah-masalah dalam kehidupan sosial berdasarkan kondisi realitas atau natural setting yang holistis, komplek dan rinci. Bidang penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah manajemen. Populasi penelitian ini sekaligus dijadikan sampel, dengan jumlah 67 PNS, dikurangi peneliti menjadi 66 sampel. coefisien direct effect kepemimpinan terhadap komitmen organisasi sebesar 0.660 menyatakan bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Kemudian coefisien direct effect motivasi pelayanan publik terhadap komitmen organisasi sebesar 0.216 menyatakan bahwa motivasi pelayanan publik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi.
