Abstract

The tourism industry in Sorong City, Southwest Papua Province, has great potential as a driver of the local economy, but still faces limitations in human resource capacity and the use of digital technology, particularly at Sinar Numfor Tourism Enterprise. This Community Service activity aims to empower tourism stakeholders through the implementation of DIGITAN (Digitalization of Tanjung Tourism) to improve digital-based tourism management and promotion. The implementation methods include socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and sustainability evaluation. The results of the activity show an increase in the capacity of the local community in digital visitor recording, report management, and bilingual tourism promotion through websites and social media. The implementation of DIGITAN has had an impact on increasing the efficiency of destination management and promotion reach. This program confirms that digital-based empowerment plays an important role in supporting independent and sustainable local tourism management.
