INDIKATOR PENGELOLAAN LINGKUNGAN HIDUP DI KABUPATEN PELALAWAN

Abstract

Global warming due to climate change has a negative impact on human life. Global warming is caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases due to human activities such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation. The only surefire method to reduce greenhouse gas emissions today is to reduce consumption of energy and other resources. The research methodology uses interviews with stakeholders with descriptive analysis. From the results it was found that environmental conditions consisting of ecological aspects can be seen from the land, water quality and air, while the economic aspect can be seen from community income and social culture in Pelalawan Regency which is related to environmental management from the inner aspect in Pelalawan Regency. Efforts to protect and manage the environment in Pelalawan Regency consist of institutional aspects consisting of formal institutions such as Departments and informal institutions such as Non-Governmental Organizations and laws and regulations from the central to regional levels.
