Abstract

Studio 2.7 serves as the main classroom for core courses in the Interior Design Department at Universitas Lancang Kuning. Although it was designed as a shared working space for students across cohorts, many students prefer to complete assignments outside the studio. One suspected reason for this low occupancy is the studio’s visual quality, particularly the color of the walls. This study aims to identify preferred wall colors that enhance comfort and learning effectiveness. A qualitative method was used, combining literature review and interviews with active users of Studio 2.7. The results indicate a preference for neutral and light colors, as they are perceived to improve concentration and create a brighter, more spacious atmosphere. These findings suggest that appropriate wall color choices can significantly enhance comfort and optimize the use of Studio 2.7.
