Pengembangkan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui aksi “Lu potong, Mas”

Abstract

This study aims to develop students' awareness of the surrounding environment, especially in schools by being creative, expressing, and innovating in recycling waste. The data was obtained from the action of LU POTONG MAS which was held at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru with a sample of class XI IPA 4 students who were divided into several working groups. Students are given 15 questions and interviews about caring for the environment. The results of the questionnaires and interviews showed that the actions of LU POTONG MAS had a positive impact on students' attitudes towards the character of caring for themselves and the environment. This activity can be carried out on an ongoing basis so that all school residents can feel the benefits, especially students.
