This study aims to explore the forms of social support provided by parents to children with intellectual disabilities and speech delays undergoing speech therapy at the Bandung Social Welfare Education and Training Center. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method. The participants in this study consisted of five parents and one therapist. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with data analysis using an inductive model thru the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate four main forms of social support provided by parents: emotional, instrumental, informational, and appraisal support. Parents are actively involved in the speech therapy process by providing encouragement, creating a comfortable atmosphere, accompanying their child during therapy, providing assistive devices, and continuing the exercises at home. Information from therapists and the environment is also processed and applied as part of responsive parenting efforts. Strengthening the child's motivation and self-confidence is done by giving praise and showing an appreciative attitude. Parents face various challenges in accompanying their children during speech therapy, ranging from time constraints and fatigue to limited knowledge. High commitment and care remain the main strengths in creating an environment that supports the therapeutic process. The active role of parents makes a significant contribution to the success of speech therapy and the overall development of the child.
