PENGARUH MEDIA TANAM DAN PERSENTASI NAUNGAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN STROBERI MENCIR (Fragaria ananassa)
Abstract
Strawberries are plants from the Rosaseae family. The Strawberry plant is a herbaceous fruit plant that was first discovered in Chile, America. Strawberries found in supermarkets are hybrids produced from crosses (Fragariavirgiana L. var Duchesneasal). Soil in Riau Province is generally dominated by red yellow podzolic soil (PMK), which is a marginal soil that has the potential to be developed by using the addition of ameliorant materials such as manure. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the planting medium and the percentage of shade had a significant effect on the growth and development of Mencir Strawberry (Fragaria ananassa) seedlings. Completely randomized Split Plot Design (Split Plot Design) with the main plot being Cocopeat (C) and the subplot being Shade (N) with 3 levels and each consisting of 3 replications. The number of experimental units was 27 plots, each plot consisting of 3 plants and 2 plants as samples, so that the total plant was 27 x 3 = 81 plants. The observed data were analyzed statistically, if the calculated F is greater than the F table of 5%, then the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) test is continued at the 5% level. It can be concluded that the administration of Coopeat had a significant effect on all the parameters of the coating, the best results were found in the treatment with C3N2, namely the administration of Cocopet 1; 3 and Shade 70%.
