Interaksi Pemberian Pupuk Kandang Ayam dan Poc Super Gro terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea mays saccharata sturt)

Abstract

Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) is a horticultural food crop that is favored by many consumers
because it has a sweet taste, smells good, contains nutrients, especially good carbohydrates. This research was
conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Lancang Kuning University with a height of
16 meters above sea level, and a flat topography with ultisssol soil type. This research was conducted for 3
months, starting from November to January 2023. This research was carried out experimentally using a
factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which consisted of two factors, namely A (Chicken Manure).
Consists of 3 levels, and the S POC (Super Gro) factor consists of 3 levels, and each has 3 replications. The
number of experimental units is 27 plots, each plot consists of 8 plants and 2 plants as samples, so that the total
plant is 27 x 8 = 216 plants. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the treatment of chicken
manure and POC super gro significantly affected all observation parameters, and the effect of the combination
of chicken manure and POC super gro gave a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, stem diameter,
cob length without husk, stem diameter. without husk, fruit weight without husk and fruit weight with a dose of 4
kg/plot and super gro POC with a dose of 40 ml/plot had a significant effect on all parameters namely plant
height, stem diameter, cob length without husk, stem diameter without husk, fruit weight without husk and fruit
weight with husk.
