RESPON PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN LIDAH BUAYA (Aloe vera) AKIBAT PEMBERIAN PUPUK JANJANG SAWIT KOSONG DAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR NENAS

Abstract

Aloe vera (Aloe vera L.) is a plant that is often called a miracle plant because of its great benefits in the world of medicine. The provision of organic fertilizer, namely oil palm bunches, can be used as organic material for plants, while pineapple waste POC plays a very important role in improving the chemical and biological properties of the soil. The purpose of this study was to determine and obtain a combination of oil palm bunches and liquid organic fertilizer from pineapple waste that gives the best effect on the growth of Aloe vera plants (Aloe vera). A factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used, consisting of two factors, namely A0: Without giving empty oil palm bunch ash, A1: Giving empty oil palm bunch ash 2 kg/plot, A2: Giving empty oil palm bunch ash 4 kg/plot and S1: Giving pineapple waste POC 40 ml/liter of water, S2: Giving pineapple waste POC 80 ml/liter of water, with 3 replications for each. Parameters are plant height, leaf length, number of leaves, leaf width, leaf thickness, number of shoots. The interaction of A2S2 (giving 4 kg/plot of oil palm bunch fertilizer and 80 ml/l of pineapple waste liquid organic fertilizer) showed the best results.
