Abstract

Civil servants in organizations are required to make positive contributions through good performance, considering that organizational performance depends on employee performance. Employee performance both individually and in groups is very important for institutions in managing, organizing, administering and using human resources so that they can function productively, effectively and efficiently. The achievement of Civil Servant performance is a reflection of the hard work of all employees in their environment, and is also supported by motivation and work discipline towards employee performance. On this occasion, researchers had the opportunity to carry out research at the Riau Province Organization Bureau. The aim of this research is to explain the influence of motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees of the Riau Province Organization Bureau. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study was 36 employees. The sample in this research is all employees of the Organization Bureau. The data used in this research is quantitative sourced from primary data using a questionnaire. The results of this research show that motivation and work discipline influence employee performance, such as data analysis using multiple linear regression. The research results show that motivation and work discipline have a partial and simultaneous effect on the performance of employees of the Riau Province Organization Bureau.
