Abstract

This study's overarching objective is to ascertain, for the years 2016–2023, how PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk's ROE and DER impacted ROE. Quantitative approaches are used in the research process. Financial report data from PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, a companylistedontheIndonesiaStockExchange,from2016 to 2023 makes up the population of this study. This study draws on secondary data acquired from PT Garuda Indonesia(Persero)Tbk'squarterlyfinancialreportsforthe years 2016–2023, as reported on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data was derived from a population of 31 reports. Thisstudymakesuseof thefollowingvariables:CR (X1), DER (X2), and ROE (Y). This data analysis approach makes use of SPSS 26 for Windows, which is a multiple linear regression analysis method. The study's findings suggest that CR significantly affects ROE, but DER doesnot. (ROE) at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk from 2016 to 2023 issignificantly impactedby theDebt to Equity Ratio (DER) and the (CR). We can infer that the variables (CR) and (DER) of 0.266 or 26.6% explain the variation in the (ROE) variable, with other variables influencing the remaining 73.4%, based on the coefficient of determination test result shows an R2 value of 26.6%.
