APLIKASI TEKNOLOGI PESAWAT UDARA TANPA AWAK (PUTA) UNTUK MENGIDENTIFIKASI PENUTUPAN HUTAN DAN LAHAN DI KAWASAN HUTAN ADAT GHIMBO POMUAN, KABUPATEN

Abstract

The Ghimbo Pomuan indigenous forest which is administratively located in Kampar Regency, Riau Province, is the remaining indigenous forest in Kenegerian Kampa which has an area of ​​56 ha and has high flora and fauna potential. This indigenous forest serves as a buffer zone for sources of clean water for the surrounding community. The existence of the Ghimbo Pomuan indigenous forest area and its forest cover have the potential to be threatened. This potential threat can be seen from the various non-forest land covers around it such as oil palm plantations, rubber plantations and open land. This study aims to interpret and identify the types of forest and land cover in the Ghimbo Pomuan indigenous forest area. Technology that is currently able to provide fast, accurate, effective and efficient information is the use of sensors (PUTA/Unmanned Aircraft) and GIS to collect data on forest and land cover types in the Ghimbo Pomuan indigenous forest area. Interpretation and identification of the orthopoto of the Ghimbo Pomuan indigenous forest area obtained that land cover in this research area is natural forest, oil palm plantations, open land, bodies of water, shrubs and roads.
