Analisis Perubahan Penutupan Lahan di Taman Hutan Raya Pocut Meurah Intan (Tahura-PMI) Aceh

The study focuses on the analysis of land cover changes in the PMI Forest Park (Tahura PMI) area from 2012 to 2018. It aims to understand the reasons for these changes by utilizing the Geographic Information System (GIS) method and comparing three land use interpretation maps derived from Landsat ETM+ images taken in 2012, 2015, and 2018. The results of the classification show that TAHURA PMI has eight land cover classes, with 2 categorized as forest and 6 as non-forest. Forest management in this area is crucial to prevent further forest degradation and is therefore a key focus of the study.
