This research aims to determine how the implementation of the Wafa method affects the ability to read Hijaiyah letters in children at TK TQ Muhammad Al-Fatih. The background of this research is that the Wafa method is an excellent method for introducing Hijaiyah letters to children, a method that not only activates the left brain but also the right brain. The participants of this research were group B at TK TQ Muhammad Al-Fatih. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to gather information in-depth through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research shows positive results on the use of the Wafa method on the ability to read Hijaiyah letters, as seen from the report notes on the development of reading Hijaiyah letters, where children are able to read Hijaiyah letters well and correctly. This is because the Wafa method is able to present learning that is interesting and fun, making it easily accepted by young children. In terms of material, the Wafa method has several unique features, such as the arrangement of Hijaiyah letters that are easy for children to understand, using Hijaz tone, and the Wafa book is equipped with various images and stories. In addition, the teacher at TK TQ Muhammad Al-Fatih also added innovations in the learning process, such as using Hijaiyah letter cards, Hijaiyah letter puzzles, and also adding activities to color Hijaiyah letters.
