Manajemen Program Jum’at Bersedekah untuk Membentuk Karakter Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Implementasi pendidikan karakter dipandang sangat tepat jika dilaksanakan sejak dini melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti program Jum’at bersedekah. Penelitian fenomenologi dengan pendekatan kualitatif ini ditujukan untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan manajemen dalam program Jum’at bersedekah untuk membentuk karakter anak usia dini di TK ABA Karangtuang. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala TK ABA Karaangtuang, guru dan orangtua. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan baik untuk wawancara maupun observasi adalah catatan lapangan. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data model Miles and Huberman yang terdiri dari tahap reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi. Pada reduksi data dilakukan pemilihan data yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Pada display data dilakukan penyajian data dan pada verifikasi dilakukan analisis penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen program Jum’at bersedekah untuk membentuk karakter anak usia dini di TK ABA Karangtuang dilakukan dengan mengaktualisasikan empat fungsi manajemen, yaitu fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Program Jum’at bersedekah di TK ABA Karangtuang telah mampu membentuk karakter anak yang memiliki kepedulian sosial serta kemampuan berkomunikasi yang penuh kesopanan dan kesantunan dengan sesama.

 Abstract

The implementation of character education is considered very appropriate if it is carried out from an early age through various activities such as the Friday charity program. This phenomenology research with a qualitative approach is intended to describe management activities in the Friday charity program to shape the character of early childhood in ABA Karangtuang Kindergarten. The participants in this study were the head of ABA Karangtuang Kindergarten, teachers and parents. The data in this study were collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The instruments used for both interviews and observations were field notes. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model which consists of the stages of data reduction, data display and verification. In data reduction, data is selected that is relevant to the research objectives. In the data display, the data is presented and the verification is carried out by drawing conclusions. The results showed that the management of the Friday charity program to shape the character of early childhood in Kindergarten ABA Karangtuang was carried out by actualizing four management functions, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising functions. The Friday charity program at ABA Karangtuang Kindergarten has been able to shape the character of children who have social concerns and the ability to communicate with courtesy and courtesy with others.
