Abstract

ARTRUNGU is a creative institution that accommodates deaf children of elementary school age through routine art activities. However, the classroom used as a space for creative learning has not been fully designed to support spatial attachment and learning comfort. This community service activity aims to provide training in classroom space design to build spatial attachment among ARTRUNGU children. The implementation method was carried out in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage included coordination with partners, licensing, initial study of partner conditions, and preparation of materials. The implementation stage consisted of material delivery and classroom design practice. The evaluation stage was conducted by assessing the children’s works together with the community service team. The results indicate that this training increased understanding of the importance of classroom design in supporting creativity and a sense of belonging to space, contributing to the creation of a more inclusive learning environment.
