RANCANG BANGUN INVENTORY SYSTEM MENGGUNAKAN METODE REORDER POINT (ROP) PADA TOKO BANGUNAN IRHAS PADANG

Toko Bangunan merupakan jenis usaha yang menjual berbagai macam material bangunan, seperti pasir, kayu, semen, besi, dan lain-lain. Sebagai usaha yang menjual material bangunan, toko bangunan harus selalu memastikan bahwa stok barang yang tersedia cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Namun, sistem yang digunakan pada toko bangunan irhas masih manual dalam proses transaksi maupun pelaporan, sehingga menimbulkan sebuah hambatan pada toko seperti pencatatan barang yang tidak terintegrasi dengan baik, penyusunan laporan yang cukup lama sehingga sulit mengontrol stok barang. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, perlu dilakukan rancang bangun inventory system menggunakan metode reorder point dengan bahasa pemrograman visual studio dan MySql sebagai penyimpanan data.
Sistem persediaan menggunakan metode reorder point adalah suatu sistem yang digunakan untuk mengelola persediaan suatu perusahaan dengan cara menentukan titik pemesanan ulang suatu produk. Titik pemesanan ulang merupakan kuantitas minimal suatu produk yang harus ada di Gudang. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan persediaan dengan cara menghindari terjadinya kelebihan atau kekurangan, sehingga dapat menghemat biaya dan waktu.
