ANALISIS SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN SISWA KURSUS DI BIMBINGAN BELAJAR JARIMATRIK KOTA TEGAL

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan manajemen siswa di Bimbingan Belajar Jarimatrik Kota Tegal yang masih dilaksanakan secara manual melalui formulir pendaftaran, arsip pembukuan, absensi berbasis kertas, serta penyusunan laporan sederhana. Sistem manual tersebut menimbulkan berbagai kendala, antara lain duplikasi data, risiko kehilangan arsip, ketidaksesuaian laporan administrasi, serta keterlambatan dalam penyajian informasi. Kondisi ini berimplikasi pada menurunnya efisiensi layanan dan meningkatnya beban kerja staf administrasi maupun pengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi langsung, wawancara terstruktur, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi kegiatan. Analisis dilakukan melalui evaluasi terhadap keunggulan dan kelemahan sistem, pemetaan alur dokumen menggunakan Flow of Document (FOD), serta identifikasi faktor SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem manual memiliki keunggulan pada aspek kesederhanaan dan fleksibilitas, namun lemah dalam hal akurasi, integrasi, serta keamanan arsip. Lembaga memiliki peluang untuk beralih ke sistem digital berbasis web yang lebih efisien, meskipun menghadapi keterbatasan sumber daya dan resistensi terhadap perubahan.
