Abstract

Eucalyptus pellita is one of the plants developed by a company in Riau Province. In the process of growth, it requires sufficient nutrients, especially during the early growth period. To get good growth in Eucalyptus pellita seedlings, it is necessary to fertilize using liquid organic fertilizer. This study aims to analyze the response of Eucalyptus pellita seedlings to Top G2 liquid organic fertilizer and to obtain the right dosage for the growth of Eucalyptus pellita seedlings. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 1 factor consisting of 5 treatment levels, not fertilized (control), 2.5 ml Top G2/l water, 5 ml Top G2/l water, 7.5 ml Top G2/l water and 10 ml Top G2/l water. Parameters observed were percentage of survival, increase in seedling height, increase in stem diameter, and increase in the number of leaves. The results of the study were analyzed for variance using SPSS software and the DMRT follow-up test at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of Top G2 liquid organic fertilizer in all treatments resulted in a growth percentage of up to 100% and had a very significant effect on the parameters of height increase, increase in stem diameter, and the number of leaves. Top G2 liquid organic fertilizer with a dose of 10 ml Top G2/l water showed the best treatment in terms of height, stem diameter, and the number of leaves of Eucalyptus pellita seedlings.
