Development and Validation of a Single-Entry Information Platform in Primary Education

This study aimed to develop and evaluate the validity and practicality of the Student Card Platform, a web-based single-entry digital learning information system designed to centralize access to learning resources for elementary school teachers, students, and parents. The study was motivated by the widespread use of multiple digital platforms in schools, which often resulted in fragmented information, missed learning announcements, inefficient communication, and inconsistent access to learning resources. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The platform was developed through a systematic process of needs analysis, product design, expert validation, product revision, and limited implementation involving teachers, students, and parents. The validation results indicated that the platform was highly feasible, with mean scores of 3.5 (87.5%) from subject matter experts and 3.6 (90%) from Information Technology experts. Practicality testing also produced positive results, with scores of 88.25% from students, 93.75% from parents, and 91.3% from teachers, all categorized as highly practical. These findings demonstrate that the Student Card Platform is a valid and practical solution for improving centralized learning information management and facilitating efficient communication in elementary school settings.
