Publication Ethics

The Journal of Tropical Agro-Environmental (JTAE) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. All stakeholders involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—must adhere to ethical guidelines to ensure integrity and transparency.

1. Responsibilities of Authors

1.1 Originality and Plagiarism

  • Manuscripts must be the original work of the authors and not plagiarized.

  • Proper citation and acknowledgment of sources are required for all referenced material.

  • Manuscripts with over 20% similarity as determined by plagiarism detection software may be rejected.

1.2 Data Accuracy and Integrity

  • Authors must ensure that data presented in the manuscript are accurate and free of fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation.

  • Raw data should be made available for editorial review and kept for a reasonable period after publication.

1.3 Multiple Submissions

  • Manuscripts must not be submitted to more than one journal simultaneously.

  • Authors should not submit previously published work unless it is being considered as part of a review or with proper citation and acknowledgment.

1.4 Authorship

  • Authorship should include only individuals who have significantly contributed to the work.

  • All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.

  • Changes in authorship after submission must be justified and approved by the editorial board.

1.5 Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest

  • Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the research or interpretation of results.

  • If unable to review a manuscript, they should promptly inform the editor.

3. Responsibilities of Editors

  • Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their intellectual content, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnicity, or political philosophy of the authors.

3.2 Confidentiality

  • Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and not disclose information to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and publisher.

3.3 Decision-Making
