Publication Fee

The Journal of Tropical Agro-Environmental (JTAE) operates on a cost-recovery model to maintain the quality and sustainability of the publication process. The publication fee covers the costs associated with peer review, editing, formatting, and online hosting of accepted manuscripts. Below is the detailed policy on publication fees.

1. Fee Structure

1.1 Submission Fee

• Amount: Free

• JTAE does not charge any fees for manuscript submission.

1.2 Article Processing Charge (APC)

• Amount: IDR 300.000 per article

• The APC is payable upon acceptance of the manuscript and covers:

  • Peer review management

  • Copyediting and proofreading

  • Digital archiving

  • Open-access hosting on the journal’s platform

1.3 Waivers and Discounts

• JTAE provides the following options:

  • Full Waiver: For authors from low-income countries.

  • Partial Discount: For authors from middle-income countries or with limited funding.

• Requests for waivers or discounts must be submitted during the manuscript submission process and are subject to approval.

2. Payment Details

• Payment instructions will be provided in the acceptance letter.

• Accepted payment methods include bank transfer.

3. Refund Policy

• APCs are non-refundable once the article has been published online.

• Refunds may be considered in cases of editor-initiated withdrawal due to ethical concerns.

4. Funding Disclosure

• Authors are encouraged to disclose any funding sources that support APC payments in the Acknowledgments section of their manuscript.
