THE EFFECT OF CURRICULUM UNDERSTANDING, WORK MOTIVATION, AND PRINCIPAL LEADERSHIP ON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS' PERFORMANCE

This study aims to determine the effect of curriculum understanding, work motivation, and principal leadership partially or simultaneously on the performance of junior high school teachers. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation research type). The research sample consisted of 31 teachers, and data collection techniques were carried out through tests and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression through the SPSS version 26 application. The results of the study showed that curriculum understanding had a partial effect on the performance of teachers at SMPN 5 Satu Atap Batanggadis with a significance value of 0.209> 0.05. Work motivation had a partial effect on the performance of elementary school teachers in Gugus V Bakongan Timur with a significance value of 0.374> 0.05. Principal leadership also had a partial effect on the performance of teachers at SMPN 5 Satu Atap Batanggadis with a significance value of 0.374> 0.05. Simultaneously, curriculum understanding, work motivation, and principal leadership had an effect on the performance of teachers at SMPN 5 Satu Atap Batanggadis.
