The operation of the electric power system, the reliability and stability of the system are prioritized to provide comfortable operation for consumers. One of the most important equipment in the operation of an electric power system is a transformer. One of the causes of the reduced life of the transformer is loading percentage, loading results in an increase in the temperature of the transformer. This study wants to analyze the effect of overload on the life of the distribution transformer, focusing on the Buntal feeder, precisely the transformers PN 0094, PN 0969 and PN 1029 which are overloaded (Overload). By using the Montsinger method, the calculation results are obtained as follows: PN 0094 experienced a 24 hour life shrinkage is 17.861% with an estimated remaining transformer life of 83 years 11 months, PN 0969 experienced a loss of life for 24 hours is 36.058% with an estimated remaining life of the transformer 41 years 7 months and PN 1029 experiencing a loss of life for 24 hours is 48.066% and the estimated remaining life of the transformer is 31 years 2 months.
