The Regional Libraries are a type of public library in Indonesia and play an important role not only as repositories of books but also in providing comfortable and functional learning spaces or facilities for all members of society. Library facilities can influence the motivation, preferences, and visiting interest of library users. This research aims to compare the facilities of regional libraries in several regions of Indonesia, focusing on infrastructure based on Peraturan Perpustakaan Nasional Number 2 of 2024. The research method used is a online documentation with a comparison of five regional libraries through tables and checklists. The results of the research show that there is variation in the fulfilment and implementation of standards and the quality of facilities and service in the five regional libraries studied, namely Jakarta Cikini Library, Dinas Perpustakaan dan arsip daerah (DISPERSIP) Kalimantan Selatan, Dinas perpustakaan dan kearsipan (DISPUSIPDA) Jawa Barat, Soeman HS Library (Dinas Perpustakaan dan arsip daerah Riau), and Jawa Tengah Library (Grhatama Pustaka). Several regional libraries have met most of the established standards, while others still require improvements in various aspects, particularly in quality. This research is expected to serve as a reference and provide recommendations for regional library management in enhancing facility quality and library infrastructure development to create a more effective learning environment, support literacy development, and attract more library visitors.
