Penyusunan Pedoman Pengelolaan Arsip Inaktif di Akademi Komunitas Negeri Putra Sang Fajar Blitar

The role of archives in organization is very important, functioning as a memory center and a monitoring tool. This study aims to compile guidelines for managing inactive archives at AKN Putra Sang Fajar, which counter challenges in archive management. Action research with a repetitive cycle model is used in this research method. Data collected by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that the guidelines compiled have met user needs, with a System Usability Scale (SUS) score reaching 81.25 after improvements were made. These guidelines cover the stages of managing inactive archives, starting from moving, arranging, storing, servicing, destroying, and are equipped with elements of security and providing relevant infrastructure. With these guidelines, it is hoped that AKN Putra Sang Fajar can increase efficiency in managing inactive archives, as well as provide clear and structured directions in managing archives in educational institutions. In addition, these guidelines are also expected to be a reference for other places in managing inactive archives systematically and in accordance with applicable regulations.
