Abstract

The The development of information and communication technology has driven the transformation of library services from conventional systems to digital-based services. This change requires libraries to not only provide technological infrastructure and digital collections, but also to develop effective communication strategies so that services can be optimally utilized by library users. In this context, librarians play a strategic role as communicators, facilitators, and mediators of information who bridge the needs of users with available digital information sources. This article aims to examine and analyze librarians' communication strategies in improving the quality of digital library services. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, sourced from national and international scientific journal articles, books, and online publications relevant to the topic of communication and digital library services. The data were analyzed descriptively and analytically to identify patterns, key findings, and research gaps related to librarian communication strategies. The results of the study show that adaptive, informative, and user-oriented librarian communication strategies contribute significantly to improving user understanding, service accessibility, and user satisfaction with digital library services. However, the implementation of these communication strategies still faces a number of challenges, such as limited two-way interaction, communication planning that is not yet systematically integrated, and differences in digital literacy levels among library users. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen librarian communication strategies by improving digital communication competencies, utilizing interactive communication media, and integrating communication strategies into digital library service development policies so that service quality can be continuously improved.
