This study investigates the impact of using comic-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) on students’ creative thinking and science process skills in the topic of colligative properties of solutions. It also compares these outcomes with those achieved using conventional LKPD. The research stems from the need for engaging and innovative learning media to enhance student outcomes in chemistry. A quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design was used. The participants were two grade XII science classes from SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru, randomly assigned to experimental (comic-based LKPD) and control (conventional LKPD) groups. Data were collected through written tests to assess creative thinking and science process skills, along with questionnaires to evaluate student and teacher responses to the comic-based LKPD. Data analysis using MANOVA with SPSS 25 showed that comic-based LKPD had a significant positive effect on students’ creative thinking (sig. 0.000; partial eta squared 0.546) and science process skills (sig. 0.000; partial eta squared 0.539). Simultaneously, Hotelling’s Trace MANOVA result confirmed a significant combined effect on both variables (sig. 0.000; partial eta squared 0.659). These findings indicate that comic-based LKPD is more effective than conventional worksheets in enhancing both creative thinking and science process skills. Therefore, the study recommends integrating comic-based LKPD as an innovative alternative in chemistry instruction to support better learning outcomes.
