TRAINING ON SIMPLE FINANCIAL RECORDING AND DIGITAL MARKETING FOR MSMES IN KURANJI DISTRICT, PADANG CITY

This community service program aimed to improve the human resource competence of MSME actors in Kuranji District, Padang City, through training in simple financial management and digital marketing. The main partner problems were weak financial recording, unclear separation between business and household finances, and very limited use of digital media for promotion. The method used was a participatory approach involving face-to-face counseling, guided discussion, hands-on practice, and mentoring. Evaluation was carried out descriptively through process observation, interactive questioning, and assessment of participants’ ability to prepare simple records and basic digital promotion plans. The results show that participants began to prepare simple transaction records, separate business and household finances, and understand the use of social media as a more structured promotional tool.
