The enhancement of library management competencies in ASEAN has become a key focus in the development of human resources and educational institutions. This study aims to explore best practices emerging from the collaboration between Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and the ASEAN University Network (AUN) in managing effective and sustainable libraries. The research methodology employs a qualitative approach with literature review to collect data, including an examination of AUN program documentation and publications related to library collaboration. The findings indicate that the collaboration between UGM and AUN through the AUNILO program has successfully strengthened the competencies of library. Identified best practices include professional exchange programs, continuous training, and the implementation of digital technologies to facilitate information access. These best practices can be adapted by other libraries in ASEAN to reinforce regional cooperation and improve the quality of library services in the region.
