Abstract

Abstract: This study seeks to assess how training impacts the job performance of automotive technicians at PT. Agung Toyota locate din Pangkalan Kerinci Riau.The findings will serve as useful insights and reference materials for stakeholders involved in this research, as well as for individuals looking to explore similar topics further. The research employs a quantitative methodology, utilizing a questionnaire to gather data, and applies simple linear regression analysis to evaluate The influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable is examined. Within this framework, training serves as the independent variable (X), whereas employee performance acts as the dependent variable (Y). The analysis was conducted using the statistical software SPSS. The results of the study indicate that training has a significant and positive impact on employee performance. This conclusion is supported by statistical hypothesis testing, illustrating that the computed t-value of 5.271 exceeds the t-table value of 2.048, with a significance level that resides below 0.000, which is under 0.05. Therefore, it can be inferred that training greatly influences the performance of automotive technicians. These results indicate that increased attention to training by a company correlates with enhanced employee performance.
