Plagiarism in academia is a serious problem that can undermine the quality of scientific work and academic integrity. One preventive measure that can be taken is to improve research analysis skills through the use of supporting software. The objective of this community service activity is to enhance the competence of academics in analyzing qualitative research data using NVivo software. This specialized qualitative data analysis tool facilitates systematic coding, organization, and interpretation of qualitative data. The training methods include material delivery, live demonstrations, independent practice, and assistance in using the main features of NVivo. The results of the activity demonstrated an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in conducting qualitative analysis, particularly in aspects such as data management, code creation, visualizing relationships between themes, and preparing more accurate and original reports. This training contributed to the prevention of plagiarism, as participants were better equipped to compile their own analysis of findings rather than relying excessively on quotes from other sources. This community service activity is expected to be a strategic step in fostering an academic culture that is honest, critical, and characterized by integrity.
